Dear Fellow Members,

Did my friend's F360 Spider today. Started at 7:30 am so "before" pics weren't really showing too many defects due to the lack of sun, but it was swirled up pretty badly. Got her back on her feet, ready to "prance" again.

Here was today's recipe:

- McKee's 37 Power Wash (gave her two washes just to be sure...)
- Pinnacle Advanced Wheel Cleaner
- Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel
- McKee's 37 Wheel Glaze
- Pinnacle XMT2 Polish (discontinued but I've got lots left)
- McKee's 37 360
- Pinnacle Carnauba Glaze (discontinued but I've got lots left)
- McKee's 37 headlight restore polish & sealant w/ 3" LC yellow on drill
- Pinnacle Crystal Clear Glass Cleaner with Water Repellent
- Pinnacle Leather Cleaner/Conditioner
- Tutlewax black trim restore - yeah, this stuff works!!! Wanted to use Griot's but didn't have time to order it for this job.
- PC7424 with LC & Griot's pads

Hope you are all having a great Memorial Day weekend, and most importantly sincerest gratitude to the men, women and service dogs of the U.S. military.

Beautiful work! Just by coincidence I just finished detailing a 2003 575 Maranello today! IMO the Italian paint is very hard.....did you experience the same? BTW, BEAUTIFUL Work!

Nice job.I did a 04 same car wheels were different.

The one I did was soft.my first dial in was a micro toting pad fg 400 looked good but hazing and no clarity.went to foam and got the results I wanted.

Thank you fellow members. BTW:I had the same experience as GSKR - soft paint. Had to back down from an LC yellow foam pad/XMT2 to an LC white foam pad/McKee's 37 to get the clarity back to the way I wanted it.

Yellow foam with fg 400 then white thin pad with speed then powerlock.car had a lot of rinseless wash marring. He is a urologist what do you expect. He had at least 50 yellow microfibers all over the garage floor.

Beautiful car. It's also nice to hear someone using a product that doesn't get mentioned everyday- XMT 2.

Great work, I like how clean and clear the headlights came out. I'm going to keep an eye out for Mckees headlight restore polish and sealant.

Hey Joe - thank you very much. Yes I've had the BOSS G15 for about a month now, the FCC, CC, and the finishing sealant, which I picked up on your recommendation after seeing the review you did on it (BOSS sealant). I also have the BOSS pads as well. In fact I just ordered some more sealant last night from AGO with the sale. These cremes are amazing, as you know. Anyway I had planned to use the BOSS CC and yellow boss pad on this F360 - versus the orange, but after trying the XMT2 - which is far less aggressive than the BOSS CC, I thought the CC would have been too aggressive. In fact the XMT 2 required some additional finish down with the XMT360 AIO. Said another way, I was treading very cautiously with a car worth as much as my house (grin). Definitely a case of starting with the leasr aggressive combination.

PS also picked up some Polywax - and that stuff I love. Used it on a few cars already (mine and the wife's included). Calling it a wax is probably a misnomer as it is more of a sealant. Whatever Griot's calls it, I love it.

Steve the McKee's headlight polish is one of those gem of a products that does exactly what it's intended to do. It also goes a long way - one bottle could perceivably last you many, many cars.
