2004 Lamborghini Murcielago, Giallo Orion (metallic pearl yellow), 6 speed manual, under 5k miles.

Customer recently acquired this beauty! Wanted some work done and dropped it off.

Car had protective film all over the place and he wanted it removed. Paint was in very good shape and only needed a light correction. Interior was a little neglected, tons of leather inside, and it was dry! Needed a good conditioning.

I removed the protective film, what a PIA that was (!), and then examined the condition of the car a little more closely. Got prepped for the correction and other work the day of the film removal. (I had the car for 2 days and put about 18 hours into it)

Process and products:

3BW (one dedicated for wheels) with Chemical Guys Citrus Red
Secondary was with IronX soap
Master Blaster to dry
Clayed with Ricardo fine clay and DoDo Born Slippery as lube
Rupes Duetto, Rupes 75 and Harbor Freight 1" pneumatic
Pads" Rupes yellow and white and misc 1" pads
Rupes swirl finder light
Rupes fine and ultra fine polishes
CarPro eraser
HD metal polish for exhaust
HD glass cleaner for windows
Leatherique Pristine Clean and Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil for the interior
Metro vac for interior
PERL for tires and trim
Adams In&Out spray for engine bay plastics
Adams Deep Wheel cleaner on wheels
Tuf Shine tire cleaner
Speedmaster brushes, boars hair brushes, Tuf Shine tire brush and misc brushes for wheels/tires

I think that is about it! Hope I am not forgetting anything.

Holy Crap on a Cracker.

Beautiful work on a stunning car. :dblthumb2::dblthumb2:

Very nice. Love the second to last picture. Would take your Porsche all day over that that Lambo though. Great job again!

That gear shifter...

Awesome work, paint looked pretty good to start out with.

af90: Yes! It is awesome! Great gated 'real' manual box! Yeah, the paint was in pretty good shape from the get go.

Hunter: thanks! I built them after reading/seeing the DIY thread here! Love them!

Amazing work Sizzle Chest!!!

That car is beautiful! You made it PERFECT. I love the color.

Very rare example where paint is not burned after machine polishing, many people don't understand what they do to the paint system after they "polish" :pc7424:it.
The paint thickness 7.7mil  probably the Italian guy was drunk or angry on the German VW management & wanted to use all the paint he got or your measurement robot is out of service or it was very, very good repainted?
What can be nicer than 1K Acrylic Giallo Corona Lamborghini ?
10 out of 10

Excellent detailing work my friend, car is beautiful and really looks challenging, but you made it look easy to perform top notch detailing on it.

Thanks a lot for sharing your work and process,

Kind Regards.

Car looks awesome Scott!
Removing that clear film is not fun, but as usual in the end your expertise produced a finished product of epic proportions :xyxthumbs:
Fuzion was the icing on the big yellow cake :props:
