2008 Mercedes E55 AMG White Calcite correct and clean.

I saw this car three years ago. ( Full correction detail with Pinnacle XMT. I did his wife's Mercedes red coupe as well ) The owner was / has / is still hand washing in one bucket , no grit gaurd with soap and a microfiber blue /black / brown mitt. ( Facepalm) I believe the color is Calcite white but I really think the luster of the paint needed more help than anything. Light correction after external prep this time.

Foam bath soak , 2BW, CarPro Iron x decontamination treatment, Clay ONR used as Lube ,Wax & Tar Remover, IPA wipedown, ONR spraylube wash.

Now there was some swirls but it really didn't take to long. I decided to hit it with a extra pass. I still have some XMT no 2 so I figured spend alittle bit more time diminishing the product than hitting with a coarser pad. Orange and white L.C. CCS pads

The paint was touched gently with

Pinnacle :

XMT No 2 on a LC CCS Orange pad, Natural Brillance finishing polish on a white pad.
XMT Glaze, Souveran paste wax. Tire Gel , Sonax windshield washer concentrate. ( this stuff is awesome btw), patience, & Love the for Color

Owner gave me a 90% of new. (Facepalm) What does it Take with some owners of said vehicles 90% I would say higher but hey the customer is always right.

On a side note I get to go back and do his daily Mercedes AMG SUV so. 90%...... maybe the answer is a free sealant pass for winter then I get a 91%. . 90% He says. ....... bang head here...

I wouldn't get discouraged at all on the "90%". I've run into some people with high-dollar, but driven cars think that a detail means "brand new car"- meaning that they think that afterwards everything is going to be absolutely perfect, when in fact, it can't possibly be because it's been driven and used. I'm giving the benefit-of-the-doubt that the owner isn't the aforementioned type, and probably recognizes that "90%" is pretty darn great for an 8-year-old car that's been driven, otherwise he probably wouldn't have asked about his DD. Keep your head up, you did great! :xyxthumbs:

I just realised I forgot to give a big thanks to Jesse, I was put on the spot and needed Autogeek supplies timimg was tight but I received them the day before my detail as promised.

Also would like to add that you guys made me feel better with this one. So I took it out on a 2008 BMW 750LI tonight lol just got home.

I'll post up a thread when I get some time. It was filthy.

IMO owner ought to invest on getting the 80's Gold BBS refinished in a gloss black / Antracite.... and the springs..

Could not agree more. The gold BBS wheels do nothing for this E55 IMHO . Lowered stance, black/anthracite BBS wheels = much cooler!

I do love those AMG cars though!
