2009 Hyundai Elantra restoration project!

Some of the best rewards comes from doing neglected cars! Looks really great.

What's your take or rather, experience using Blackfire products, including the interior?

Just bought the AIO, polish and sealant. Dying to try them out!

^^^Thank you! Yeah, this was a cool 'project' cuz the results were so, well, visible!

I've used their sealant a lot, and like it. The compound and polish are very good too. I haven't tried the AIO yet, I am waiting to try that!

Love their AIO trim/tire dressing. Use it almost all the time on engine compartments.

New glass cleaner is good and I've tried a few of their interior products before, can't name them off the top of my head, have to go to garage to look, but I have never had any bad experiences with them.

A solid line up.
 
Looks great, but what about the steel wheels? Should of hit them with some matt black paint.

It might require some tedious prep in order to mask off and avoid overspray on the paint... Or you could remove the wheels and spray them, which would also be time consuming, not to mention more work to top off an already long process.

Great job,as a newbie it really helps to read all the pros work. The black fire seems to be the way to go. I'm definitely not rich so im torn between the blackfire products or the Griot's boss and 3d. I try to purchase a little bit at a time. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Tasmania: Thank you! I will agree that painting the wheels would have looked great, however, it was not 'that kind' of detail.

Thanks drmikeyb! You can't go wrong with any of the products you listed. I really like the Griot's and 3d products as well!

Do it some other day then, just think the whole rust look lets the final look down.
