The owner of this beautiful 2010 Audi R8 contacted me looking to get his ride prepped for winter storage. We decided to go ahead with my Exterior Protection Detail as well as my Premium Interior Detail.

Process

Exterior:
Wheels: Griots Garage Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner with various brushes
Tires: Zep Formula 505 Cleaner & Degreaser
Wheel Wells: Zep Citrus Cleaner (4:1)
Pre-wash: CG Citrus Wash & Gloss via foam cannon
Wash: CG Citrus Wash & Gloss via 2BM & Wool Wash Mitt
Decontamination: CarPro Trix, & CarPro IronX
Dry: Waffle Weave Towels
Paint Protection: Carpro Reload
Wheel Protection: CarPro HydrO2
Tire Dressing: Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant
Trim Dressing: Optimum Opti-bond
Glass: Stoner Invisible Glass with Rain Repellent via Glass Towel
Exhaust Polishing: P21s Polishing Soap

Interior:
Vacuum: Shop Vac
Leather: Steam Cleaned then treated with Sonax Leather Foam
Trim & Door Jams: Steam cleaned & treated with Wolfgang Cockpit Sealant
Vinyl / Plastic: Steam cleaned & treated with Wolfgang Cockpit Sealant
Glass: Sonax Clear Glass via Glass Towel

Engine Bay:
Engine Components: Zep Citrus Cleaner (4:1) with various brushes
Engine Dressing: Sonus Trim & Motor Kote

Exterior Before:

Overall the vehicle arrived in decent condition with some dust, road grime, ect.

Wheels were coated in a thick layer of brake dust.

Build up of exhaust soot.

Engine bay was in need of a good bath

Interior Before:

After the exterior was examined it was time to see what I was up against for the interior

Lots of dust found on all of the surfaces

Drink spill on and near the drivers seat

During:

Started with the wheels and tires first. Notice that the brake cleaner turns purple as it reacts with brake dust.

The paint was decontaminated using CarPro Trix and CarPro IronX (IronX used on clear film'ed areas)

Wheels were sealed with CarPro Hydr02. Nice wheel beads.

Thanks for viewing and enjoy.

Wow must have been nice to work on such a beauty. GREAT JOB!

If I won the lottery, this would be the first car I would buy! LOVE THEM and excellent work!!

Muito Bom!, portuguese for 'Very Good'! Wrote it because those two words came out of my mouth almost involuntarily just after reading your last sentence.

Try to say it, enjoyable to pronounce like watching your work, means good - Muito Bom!

Thanks for sharing.

Awesome job !!! I love those cars. One of my clients tossed me the keys to his one day and told me to take it for a ride. Such an awesome automobile.

Fantastic job buddy! I say it all the time but that is my dream car, something about those R8's I LOVE:)

Amazing work on that Audi before it goes into Hibernation

what a beautiful ride, looks even better now :)

btw, is it the other way around when you used these for the trim & tires?

Tire Dressing: Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant
Trim Dressing: Optimum Opti-bond
