My megs fast finish just came in and I'll be doing a side by side with it and a few sealants just..Well because

I ordered some d300 and can't wait till it arrives

The more and more I see the nano in action the more and more I want to add it to my cart and buy one it looks so helpful and would knock out small area quick and correctly

Thanks. I spent 7 hours on Saturday. Started around 10am as I had to let the car cool off so focused on the interior. Wrapped up around 6pm. This included the interior, exterior aggressive wash, and 3/4's of the paint polished out.

Sunday was about another 2.5 hours to finish the rear quarters, rear bumper and passenger side doors that got Rupes UHS only. So roughly 9 hours.

I had my dad helping me with small things like the engine bay, trim, exhaust tips, exterior glass and the interior. Saved me lot of time there. If I did not have to compound It would have been in the 5-6 hour range.

good i would of been shocked if you said anything under eight hours as it takes me three days to do a full detail on my car with the wash and clay and everything and i dont even really do much on the inside besides vacuum and i wasnt even counting that. im getting ready to start working on other peoples cars so i gotta get the time down.
 
Absolutely amazing restoration! I know how the climate there can affect finishes over a small geographical area: I grew up in Manhattan Beach and lived in Hawthorne for about 5 years (now in Seattle). Back in the ol days chrome bumpers would pit and rust and dark colors would oxidize in no time. I can appreciate the work you put into this ES and I'll bet the previous owner wouldn't even recognize it (even if they parked next to it at the In-N-Out parking lot)!

I really enjoy your posts and look forward to your techniques and the products you employ. Thanks again for posting!
 
Awesome turn around!!! For me the most fun is had bringing back the beauty to a once trashed vehicle. It is the most rewarding!

My wife has an ES 350 and I have yet to see one that doesn't have some sort of headlight issue. When i bought it used, I included the headlight condition in part of the negotiation LOL..(thanks to Autogeek i wasn't worried) People always comment how nice her car looks and the headlights make all the difference. I go over them after every wash and apply a sealant..(no sanding) That 2010 was rough! The leather and oxidation are pretty advanced for that age! How many miles? You did a phenomenal job on cleaning it up!
