Hi guys

I have a 2011 Shelby mustang in for an Enhancement detail (one last time before I'm moving to California ). Car was very dirty and the paint was looking very sorry. There was lots tar on the lower panels, anyways I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Here's was the process

  • Wheels and Tires clean with strong dilution of APC
  • Presoak with OPC 5:1 and Foamed
  • Rinse and wash with 2BM
  • Paint was contaminated chemically and with clay
  • Rinse and IPA
  • Polish with Meg 205
  • Paint/glass cleanse with BF gloss enhancer
  • Paint for BFWD
  • Glass and wheel got Opti-seal
  • Interior wipe down and vacuum

Just a thought but it looks like you are applying a lot of pressure with your fingers with your clay bar. Just judging by the photo. Car looks great by the way! Great photography too.

Thanks guys! about too much pressure with clay...how is clay suppose to look if correct pressure is applied?

BTW I was using a Ricarrdo fine clay, its a fine clay and its very pry-able...maybe that why? cause all my other clay stays flat..

Ah well I was taught it should look like a pancake with uniform pressure. Not a dig, just wondering if you noticed. I know it some tricky spots I apply more pressure to fingertips.

Agreed the finer the clay it will take shape much easier.

I used BlackFire Wet Diamond

Looks good my dad has a 2010 track pack II gt basically a gt with the gt500 underpinnings same koan blue as well. I am getting him wax for fathers day I in between dodo juice blue velvet or fuzion sampler. Looks great I use pinnacle Check out my final ranger pics

That shot of the foam coated front end looks really cool. What kind of camera do you use? Everything is very clear.

I love Kona Blue. It's an awesome color.

How did you dry the front end? Water likes to hide there and everytime I think I've gotten the last of it, a little more drips out.

Great job! What kind of detailing brush did you use to clean the emblems?

205 removed a decent amount of defects! Great work!

Meg 205 did remove some and Blackfire gloss enhancer filled some. Its what I call an enhancement detail, its not paint correction.

Im using a Canon T3i

I used Metro vac and blow to blow most of the water out of the crevices.

Swissvax detail brush
