2012 Cashmere Silver Metallic BMW 535i X-Drive:

So a forum member from a racing club I'm a part of picked up a really nice daily driver for his wife and decided to take advantage of my Basic Clean and Protect Promotion that includes upgrading the final sealant to GYEON CanCoat that should protect it well for the remainder of this calendar year. Given they take it through touchless washes I know they will love the super hydrophobic effect that it provides. In addition, he added in a polish and GYEON Q2 RIM Ceramic Wheel Coating on the face of the 19's on this bad boy too.

The weather didn't cooperate well for photos this afternoon but given it's curing overnight in my garage I will try and get some good pics in the morning. In the mean time, here are a few that show it well but honestly don't do it the justice it deserves. I'll update things once I have better ones.

  • Iron X & Medium Grade Nano Mitt for decontamination
  • Tarminator for tar removal
  • Rupes Mille with Yellow Mille Pad
  • GYEON Primer Polish/Base
  • Optimum Paint Prep wipe down
  • GYEON CanCoat on Painted Surfaces
  • GYEON Cure over top to help protect it while curing
  • GYEON Q2 RIM on Wheel Faces
  • Mother's CMX on side and back glass
  • Meguiars Plastic & Vinyl Coating Spray on Trim (front clip/cowling)
  • Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Dressing

Looks phenomenal under those garage lights!

Thanks! If I can ever catch a break in time to finish my darn garage!! Car does have a pretty 'wet' look to it in person. I keep going out in the garage to look at it because it's not often I can get a metallic grey to really pop like this one. Hopefully mother nature gives me early morning sun.

Looks great!

Rupes Mille with Yellow Mille Pad and GYEON Primer Polish/Base is all you needed before can coat?

I forgot to note I wiped down with Paint Prep before the coating. IIRC you can let Primer go 24hrs without it but I always wipe down and I move quickly. Otherwise, yes. This vehicle didn't need much if any correction and what was needed was knocked-out nicely with Primer. It's a bonus to my customer as my base Clean and Protect isn't a correction package.....normally but I most always do a little something extra in terms of that ;)

It's also worth noting that CanCoat goes on A LOT easier and without any high-spot issues when paired with Primer. It just plain buffs cleaner and easier. I've tried early on with regular polishes and there's definitely a benefit to using their Primer Product first. It's a great finishing polish much like CarPro Essence.

Still never got the sunshine to pop out while I still had the car but here are some additional pics
