Its shocking that it has that much dealer inflected swirls. Awesome turnaround on one of my dream cars :)
 
At least they were honest in saying that they could not fix the paint! Ta obvious! ;). Great job bud once again. Keep up the great work.

I was thinking the same thing. I would definately get some haze on my black Toyota.
 
That's a great questions regarding any orange pad on soft paint. It seems everybody like the new LC foal wool pad. Has anybody else had success with this.

Wowzerz! I was at a lexus dealer last month and in thier show room was a swirled out mess. THANKFULLY the LFA in there looked fine minus some finger smuges.

I mean if you are going to display a car in your showroom. Make it nice or pick one YOU haven't already messed up.

Yes, this is the daily beater, haha. Although it still only gets driven rarely, as this client just drives to the airport most of the time. He takes the F430 for local driving. :xyxthumbs:

No, my photos are hosted on my own website. I used to use photobucket though. Its essentially the same process to post here using the codes.

Yes, I am a almost complete mobile operation, so most of my jobs are at the clients homes. Thanks!

I have always had great success using M205/Orange LC Flat pad on a DA. It has left some haze on a few vehicles, which would then be taken to another finishing step. I found this combination about a year or so ago when testing different 1-step methods. This one finished down so good, I tried it as my second step of a full correction one day and it left the finish flawless, so I try to use it as often as I can. If there is any hazing left, I will continue on to a 3rd step of finish polishing.

Hey! Ive been around, just not on the forums. Moved, got married, took a full time job during the week, so kinda took a break from detailing a bit, just taking jobs on occasional weekends. Im trying to make a come back this year though, so you will be seeing more of me this year! hope everything is going well for you! :xyxthumbs:

First off: Awesome job!!! Reminds me of an M3 I did that the dealership trashed just like that IS-F.

Anyway, I have a question since you do the jobs at the clients homes. This job was done over 3 days at the clients home, does the client come out and check on the progress? Does he/she comment as they see progress? Do any of them stand around watching at all to see what you do?
I'm just curious as I would think some people could care less and just let you work while others might actually be intrigued.
