I was contacted by the owner of this 2012 Mustang GT to get the car ready for sale. I was told it was in good shape, but had been run through a local automatic car wash since it was new, I knew those two things could not go together. Upon arrival, and inspection, We both decided that a 1 step correction and sealant would be the best option for his needs. My steps were as follows.

Foam with Nanoskin Green Apple Bubble Bath
wash using 2BM and Bubble Bath
Clay using Nanoskin Medium grade towel and Glide
Polish with PC7424XP using 5" BP, LC Orange Flat pads, and Nanoskin Nano Cut.
IPA wipedown
Seal with Gtechniq C1.5 Silo Seal.
Wiper cowling restored with Solution Finish

Owner was VERY pleased, and coudn't believe it was the same car he dropped off :) It is now for sale. He did come back for a dust off(is parked next to a softball field), and I got to get some beading shots. To say I am impressed with C1.5 would be an understatement.

Very nice Save! the 50/50's show the hard work! :dblthumb2:

Wow that was in rough shape but you polished it very nicely.
Aren't those the v6 wheels?

That is an amazing turn around , 50/50 shots never get old .
Those rims also came on the GT's , I think the V6 " Premium or Pony package " also had them .

They started allowing that in 2012, dumb in my opinion as they don't "fit" the car but to each their own.

Great work! Maybe they'll decide to keep it now!

After treating a Mustang like that, hopefully the owner is moving on to a more appropriate a soul-less appliance. :bat: ;) Maybe a beige Camry?

Marvelous work you fixed that mustangs bruises, it will definitely sell now hopefully to another potential GEEK

Now it's a Mustang folks would be proud to drive.

it sure was a pile before. I am always amazed at the way people treat a new car.

Nice work! A shame that it was that bad after a couple of years.

The guy who owned it didn't really realize there was an issue UNTIL I put the lights on it, but now that he realized what he had been doing to it, I've started educating him on proper wash techniques and his next car will stay in much better shape. I'd love for the new owner to bring it back, and get all of the RIDS out and coated, but I don't know if that will happen or not.

He does. He ordered a '15 GT500, so this one has got to go. I'm sure I'll see the GT500 when he gets it.
