Ceramic Coating #1 for me going down tonight!

Prepped the wash buckets before classes.

Now for late night wash and ceramic coat.

All clean and towel dried

Now to let it dry a little more

Then a alcohol wipedown

Then ceramic coat

I have watched a ton of videos on how to do it. I learned how to dip my car from YouTube so I think I can handle this one

This car is Plastidipped (by me) Plastidip alone can not be ceramic coated. This also has their Dip Armor Clear Coat on top. That allows it act more like paint and allows for a ceramic coating to be applied.

Not much visual difference
A little more sheen

I'm more interested in the cleaning and ease of drying capability of a ceramic
coat.

Finally reinstalled my side skirts
I took them off a few months ago to plastidip my car

They have just been hanging out in the garage

The garage photo is the most accurate color wise
The outdoor shots seem way lighter green

I can finally say my Acura TLX and your Vette have something in common, DWS06’s....I don’t have the + yet but when I change the tires next year I’ll be going to the +’s .

How is washing it?

Foams and wash just like before. It has clear coat and it's ceramic coated
