2014 mustang gt track pack 10 coats of wax

Do you live with your parents or in-laws?

Parents I'm 20 and work at Chicago stamping plant and I split my check for 6 months m goal was to hav no cosign we 10 grand later and I didn't need one

You know you don't have 10 coats of wax on your car right?
You'll remove every coat when doing this.
It's a proven fact that waxing more then once removes the previous layer.
Waste of time and money

So after washes, rain and whatever else it wears down, so how long do you think you can wait inbetween LSP'S? Do you believe the same thing about sealants too?

If you take about 8 coats of wax off...you might be able to catch the Camaros...(weight reduction).

Did you see Consumer Reports fun to drive car list in this months edition?
The Camaro did not make the list. The Mustang is right up there.
Enough said.

Only 20- home is ok as long as you pay your way. I am sure you mother likes having you at home and you Dad likely cannot wait for you to go.

I love Mustangs- Keep it cool.

I believe that for sure, helps being able to see out the back window and around you, here the Camaro sucks in that department too, along with the sheer mass of the thing! I know about the ZL1 and Z/28 and how their "track ready", just don't think you'll see em' there but where you will see em' is under plastic waiting to be sold at Barrett-Jackson 2053, LOL!

Stangs rule, period and the next versions are going to be interesting....and smaller and that's a good thing!

My arms are sore just thinking about 6 hours and 10 coats of wax...

looks good, but Grabber Blue is where it's at!

Corsa makes awesome cat backs if you're ever looking.

If waxing makes you happy go for it! The only thing I will say, is that the more you touch/wipe your paint the more chance of inducing swirls. BTW nice car, looks great!

Looks tremendous...and I say wax on and wax away. I wax my car sometimes a few times in row just because I enjoy it.

Why is it that someone would have even dared to 'touch' their prized
possession this many times (at least 20) within a six hour time period?

But if you think it was worth doing, OP, then keep on doing it...
no matter what anybody else says.

Also...
I've heard that those folks that sell car-care products
enjoy "listening-in" to this type of car-care discussion.

And...
I find that it's FUN to re-hash the below thread...(especially Posts #13-16)...
most every time this: Layering-of-waxes subject matter arises.

I know its beating a dead horse but this is correct...I used to think the same when Zaino told me more was better...

So the key words here are "used to"? I ask because when using ZFX it let's you apply one coat right over the top of another due to it "flashing" Z-2 or Z-5 right away, therefore you can add multiple layers, thus adding extra protection....and the shine's not too bad either!!!

It sounds like he would prefer not to waste his money renting. Nothing wrong with living at home and buying a car you would enjoy rather than something you wouldn't.

Whos talking about renting? Whats wrong with a 20 year old buying a house instead of a car?

I have used zaino both pre and post ZFX. IMHO layers really never showed extra protection to me just more product usage

Ahhh to be 20 again, now there's a wish. Super sweet car. I agree wax the hell out of it great ride. Love the Stangs, wish I had one. Hey I had free room and board at 20 also so don't knock it. Mine included meals, medical and all the ammunition I could shoot. Thank you Uncle Sam...USMC.

Totally agree best color out here. There is a new red or maroon that looks pretty good also.

I had a Stang when I was 20, a 73' Mustang that I called the "Rustang", LOL! It was the grande body style, had a 302 2 barrel with a C4. My Dad bought it and drove it for a little bit but gave the car to me as I had hot rodded my 78' Caprice Classic 2 door to a point that I couldn't drive it as a DD anymore (4.11/3500 stall...actually torque converter out of a Vega, LOL!)

Black looks stunning on that car, so does that cranberry color you guys are talking about (guy at our sister company has one) but for me its Gotta Have It In Green, Trac Pak and glass roof....pinch me!
