There are always going to be varying opinions on all these type of products, but based upon the results I've been experiencing and since they are synergistic products I'm sticking with the Speed/Poxy 1-2 punch. :dblthumb2:
 
Speed and Express is also a great one-two synergistic punch. Express applied once a month.

The only issue I have with the statement made by that person is that how was it known that Poxy was gone? Especially when HD Speed has Poxy in it. I would think that if Poxy was gone then so would speed.

I'm in agreement with you on this. I would not mind hearing your thoughts on the kind of durability you are seeing with this combo. Well that is if you see the cars you have worked on a regular basis.

I agree, if it has Poxy in it then finishing it with Poxy only makes sense to me. I will be taking care of both of the vehicles I did as they are local so I'll see how it holds up. Summer down in Florida will put most products to the test. I've used many different sealants and in summer time non garage kept down here in Tampa I'm lucky to see any type of beading after 6-8 weeks. But that doesn't mean all the protection is gone either. Either way it sure looks good :dblthumb2:

Never tried these products but after seeing this i might have too. If this product will allow me to get better results in less time while keeping things cost effective for my clients as well as profitable to me then its a no brainer. $500+ details are far and few here so providing some level of defect removal while enhancing gloss for a fraction of the cost might be a sweet deal!

I did his son's Camaro a couple weeks before. I have a HUGE collection of products, all the Menzerna, BF, WG etc. This combo on a vehicle in good shape is hard to beat. I did the BMW including washing it in about 4-1/2 hours start to finish. I have the HD Adapt and Polish too. Haven't used them yet but I'm sure they are first class too based upon other posts here, like the Challenger and Lexus suv recently posted. Another plus is you use very little product so it's a great value too. I recommend the 32oz bottles. I barely dented them on two full details. And they are so EASY to remove, effortless.

I had the Camaro I did before this over at my house (daughters boyfriend) he just washed it and we did a wipe down with HD Touch and it was popping. He said the rain flies off when he's been driving in the rain.

The owner of the BMW said the same thing over the weekend.

Just a note, neither of these are or will be garaged so it will be a real test over the next couple months with the hot Florida sun and daily rain.

I'm thinking about using this combo (HD Speed + HD Poxy) on an Infiniti FX35 next week.

It's been a few months, any update on durability? Thanks!
 
Why not just use HD Polish if you're going to use HD Poxy afterwards? From what I read, Speed is 75% Polish and 25% Poxy.

Good point. You'll get a bit more correction with Polish.

Also, David Fermani says HD SPEED won't fill. He's on crack, it does fill. Not a bad thing, but the information is inaccurate.

So speed is a like glaze/wax hybrid?
 
have yet to try HD adapt I got. I dont like lsp style cutting fluids like HD speed. I really like using a polish or compound and polish and then going to collinite 476s.
 
Car looks fantastic! Nice work. When I hit up some paint with HD Speed, I usually end up maintaining it with HD Express later down the road. Really starting to love that stuff.
