2015 BMW 435i Meets HD Speed & HD Poxy

I did a new Red Camaro a couple weeks ago with this HD combo which is new to my arsenal. His dad had a new 435i which I had the opportunity to do yesterday. I did a 535i a few months back with the new Menzerna 3-n-1, WG 3.0 Sealant so this was a great comparison for me.

Used my Rupes Duetto and 75 with LC Flat Pads, Orange with Speed and Black with Poxy.

The results were outstanding. Now I know why so many members petitioned AG to carry these products, they are awesome!

Thanks, make sure you get the Poxy too, it's a great 1-2 combo, and so easy to apply and remove. It was 95 out here yesterday and i didn't kill myself in the heat. Did it inside hi garage which can be stifling in Florida this time of the year. Next up in a few weeks is his wife Porsche Hot Red Cayenne, first one I've ever seen in Red.

I'm curious Is HD Speed and Poxy a better 2-Step combo then HD Polish and Poxy
 
That BMW looks awesome. I have a sample of HDPoxy I have yet to try. So many products, so little time and not enough cars!

And yes, it certainly can cut/level defects without filling. In fact at this year's Detail Fest I demonstrated it by removing 3000 grit sand scratches from a black hood in about 10 seconds. At SEMA I was using 1500 grit sandpaper. It just took longer.

HD Speed is a combination of 75% HD Polish & 25% HD POXY. The abrasives are identical in both products, there's just less of them in HD Speed. Durability can vary greatly with Speed based on environment & washing variables. We actually use Speed on almost every dealer car that we work on and find that it lasts longer when you leave it to sit on the surface after polishing. It allows the polymers to link up creating a stronger bond. You basically buff the entire car and don't wipe any of the residue off until the end. Give it a try...

Will have to try leaving it on while I do the whole car. It is VERY easy to wipe off after you work it in. This seems like the hot new product on here, it's funny I bought HD speed last summer, and it's been sitting around. Haven't been on in over a year and come to post about it and that's all everyone is talking about!

I haven't used the Polish yet because the 2 new vehicles I did didn't need that level of correcting power.

That's how I've been using it, I've been doing about half the vehicle and leaving it on, then going back and wiping it off and then applying Poxy and letting that cure on. Then doing the rest of the vehicle with Speed and letting it cure then wiping off the Poxy I put on the first half and then wiping the Speed off the last half, apply Poxy on last half let it cure. I do the tires and wheels while I'm waiting for it to cure. I leave each on for about 45 minutes or so. This helps speed up the two step process.
 
Great job. I too live in Florida and just finished up a black r/t challenger with HD speed. Although I topped with Natty's red wax. The stuff just plain works! Check out my post on the challenger.

Yeah that Challenger came out great.
 
Thanks for all the great comments. I'm definitely and HD fan now. Great cost, easy to use, exceptional results. And I haven't used my polish or adapt yet.

I just read this thread and someone says to not top HD Speed with any LSP cause it won't stick and last long, even HD Poxy.

I guess if your gonna do a 2-step process you might be better off doing a straight polish with a LSP

It says on HD's website that speed is 75 percent polish and 25 percent Poxy
