Give yourself more than wipe down. Also flip your towel to a clean side regularly until all sides are used by the prep solution used. Also get yourself better lighting.

I wiped it quite extensively. Is there a particular soap you would recommend to wash the car with between the polishing step and the LSP? Just to assist in removing the polishing oils?

IF the polish is hiding, more light will not helpful

It must have been because I had pretty good lighting. I didn't see anything other than a mirror like reflection.

Can't help you there. I don't wash the car after correcting.

It will aid him once he wipes it down to remove those polishing oils.
