So I know a couple months ago I posted up about booking in a Nissan GTR for a full wheels off treatment. Unfortunately the day before he was scheduled to drop off the front bumper was struck in a parking lot.

Fast forward to last week and the owner contacted me stating that the GTR was ready for me. I got started on Sunday and buttoned it up on Tuesday afternoon.

This particular GTR has the factory "Scratch Shield" self healing clear coat which in some cases can be a PITA to correct. This particular car only needed correcting in some areas. The rest of the car got a light polishing. The front bumper, headlights, mirrors and half of the hood have clear bra so those areas were just coated.

Wash and prep

Wheels/tires cleaned with Iron-x and APC
Paint foamed with Tornador foam gun with a mix of general carwash soap and LATA
Paint decontaminated with Nanoskin medium towel and iron-x bath
Door jambs cleaned with LATA

Interior

Interior received a thorough cleaning with McKee`s total interior cleaner
Plastics and leather treated with McKee`s interior protectant
Carpets vacuumed and spot cleaned
Trunk vacuumed cleaned spot cleaned

Wheels

Wheels were removed and thoroughly cleaned with iron-x, blown dry and coated with PBL wheel coating
Brake calipers were also cleaned up and coated with PBL wheel coating.
Tires were dressed with Hyper dressing

Exhaust tips were cleaned up with d140, steel wool and polished with McKee`s RV aluminum polish

Paint

The spoiler, A pillars and a few other spots were compounded with g21, BOSS microfiber cutting pad and fast correcting cream
Paint was polished with Essence, g21, white LC pro thin pad.
Exterior glass was cleaned and coated with PBL glass coating
After leaving Essence to cure after polishing, the paint was wiped with Wolfgang Perfekt finish paint prep then coated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light.
The next day I hit the paint with Polish Angel Cosmic Spritz.

Thanks. Me too.

WOW! Great work Justin! :dblthumb2:

Thanks Nick! Car still has Florida tags. Think he said he was originally from Orlando Florida.

Amazing work on this beast Justin!

Thanks Marc.

Happy to see you landed the car Justin!

It really came out great!

Thanks for sharing.

I am glad it worked out too. Thanks for looking!

Nice work and write up! Liked the 50/50 shots too. Came out great!

Really nice work Justin. That GT-R looks great now. I've done 3 cars with CSL so far. Easy application and the water behavior by itself is impressive. I coated my brother in law's car 3 months ago and it stays very clean even through rainstorms. It gets washed maybe once a month at best.

Thanks Harris! I couldn't agree more about CSL!

Awesome job!
Love the Armytrix exhaust!

Thank you. It sounds awesome!

Beautiful work on a nicely appointed mobile maniac! I also LOVE those wheels but as i contemplate a move back up there i worry about what i remember as horrid road conditions tearing up my BBS wheels and 30 series tires! He's rolling 22" Vellano's and what look like maybe 25 series rubber! And i would be apoplectic if someone hit my bumper in a parking lot!

I don't want to divert here, absolutely beautiful work and on white to boot! Thanks for letting us see it, Justin.

Thank you sir!

Looks great... though I've got to say those are perhaps the worst wheels I have seen on a GT-R :/ Oh well, as long as the owner loves it.

We've been doing some testing with CSL, and I have to say that it has been very impressive. It is hands down the slickest feeling coating we have ever used (and we play with a lot of stuff!).

Thanks Zach! Thanks for answering my PMs a while back too regarding this car.

As for CSL I totally agree about the slickness. And for most customers that's a huge bonus. A lot of clients and even myself really like a slick feeling surface. They attribute it to great protection in there mind.

I continue to be amazed by Justin's work however feel somewhat compelled to say that if i had the cash and the incilnation to buy a Nissan GTR in white, i would not have any problem putting $6000 of wheels and rubber on it looking like that. No problem whatsover. A bit ostentatous? Maybe but it's mine and i'll drive it in Massachusetts and get some folks to say "#### did you see that GTR yesterday with the red 22" wheels"?

Yup, i did and Justin detailed it to perfection...
