2017 HSV Maloo - C.Quartz FINEST.

Amazing work and amazing Ute.

Thank you. :xyxthumbs:

Nice, "ute" last time I said that I confused people.

Wow! That red paint looks dripping wet! Great job my friend.

Kyle

Thanks Kyle. :xyxthumbs:

Very nice, thanks for sharing! Just out of curiosity, what does a vehicle like this cost there?

Thank you. :xyxthumbs:

$105,000 NZ I believe, so roughly $75,000 US.

That thing is full of win!!!!!! Awesome automobile and great work!

Cheers mate. :xyxthumbs:

Very Nice. Back in the day one of the divisions of General Motors, Pontiac was toying with the idea of bringing that car over to the United States. And then GM shuttered Pontiac, and declared bankruptcy when the economy crashed.

Thanks Jaret. :xyxthumbs:

I think I remeber Justin telling me about that one other time too, its a shame it didn't happen. I don't know alot about the ins & outs of what sells well over there but I couldn't imagine these would stay on the lots for too long. Heck even the Holden version in the V6/V8 would sell fine I think. It'd be like (& probably badged as) a new version of the El Camino.

Dang it Aaryn! Now I want another Holden.

Sorry, & thanks. :xyxthumbs:

Best get one soon, they'll start running out shortly. Sad really.

Looking good Aaryn! Cool banners too all hung up together. For Cquartz leather I believe they said not to use the provided applicators right? Some issues with it....

Thank you my friend. :xyxthumbs:

Indeed they did but as I understood it, it was more so for lighter coloured leather but swapped out my applicators anyhow. Somehow the orange dye was transferring off the applicators.

Neat car and great work. that would make a great golf club hauler/grocery getter:)

Thank you. :xyxthumbs:

Thats about all this one will be doing too . . . well probably not the golf but it won't be doing a great deal if this one is used as much as the last one my client had.

Nice work as usual Aaryn! Looks great...love this ride!

Thank you Scott. :xyxthumbs:

It's not mine to give away but I'll swap it for your Porsche . . . it'll look smart sat next to my 63 Bug (similar colours) in my garage. :props:

Nice job! The shape reminds me of a Subaru Brat, but bigger. What Polish did you use with the Gloss Pads?

That is sweet!!! My wife has a Liquid Red Pontiac G8/Holden Commodore. Great car!

Maloo is Aboriginal for Thunder/Storm nice slice of Aussie muscle

476kw or 638 HP. =)

Ha! You're right it does look very similar indeed. They were a Subaru Brumby here in NZ, Brat sounds way cooler. Essence was used with the Gloss Pads.

You guys get all the cool toys.

Awh, c'mon - you guys get some pretty neat stuff that we don't get too. :xyxthumbs:

Does the Pontiac version get the different front still, or just badged different?

That it is. No more slices, no more cake. Bit sad really huh.

It is sad mate, I wish they were still making them, Holden commie and the Ford falcon but due to lack of
sales the arse end fell through.

Australian government tried there best to keep them afloat but hay.. its a sign of the times i guess.

Bloke down the road from me has a mint red Ford FPV Boss 290kw and only takes it out on the odd weekend.

I dont mind the last run of the XR8 with the supercharged 335kw engine. =)

[Thanks.

Aarryn, the G8 was totally different. The Chevy SS that was brought over from Australia looks pretty much the same as a Commodore with a different badge.

Right, I'm with you now mate - I googled the G8. We got that shape here as a limited edition but still badged as a Holden. From what I remember, they sold okay too.

Aaryn, I took your advice and picked up a new Holden. It feels great to be back in a Holden.
