2017 Porsche 718 Boxster S
Miami Blue, black/grey interior, PDK, Fabspeed exhaust, Signature wheels
7,827 miles

A client of mine wanted his wife’s Boxster squared away. Paint correction and a ceramic coating were on deck.
For a new vehicle this one was pretty beat up. A ton of swirls covered the entire vehicle. A 2 step correction took care of the majority of the defects.
It now looks like a piece of candy! An M&M perhaps!! Very glossy!

2BW w/Adam’s shampoo.
Micro-chenille mitt.
Iron decon’d with McKee’s37 iron remover.
Clayed with Griot’s medium mitt. Lube was my wash solution.
Tar was removed, once again, with a super-secret tar remover that I am beta testing and wish they would release it soon…it’s very good. (and I need more!)
Adam’s APC on rocker panels, rear valance, wheel wells, etc.
PTG readings compliments of DeFelsko.
Rupes Mark II 21, Rupes mini and Rupes iBrid.
Rupes green and yellow foam pads were used.
McKee’s37 Fast compound and polish were the cutting agents of choice!
Misc MF towels.
NanoPro Pro9H Black Edition was the LSP of choice. The rims were coated in this as well.
I topped the Pro9H with a coating of NanoPro ProFeather for additional hydrophobic properties, gloss and to prevent water spotting.
NanoPro rubber and trim was used on the wheel wells plastics and calipers.
QuickJack 5000XL was used to lift the vehicle.
Lighting via Scangrip.
Calipers/wells cleaned with Adam’s APC.
Wheels cleaned with Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Tires were cleaned with Adam’s tire/rubber cleaner.
Speedmaster brushes and other misc brushes were used.
Tire dressing SCG Pro.
Glass was cleaned with Blackfire glass cleaner.
Leather was cleaned with Blackfire interior cleaner.
Dash, nav-screen, etc was wiped down with McKee’s37 quick interior detailer.
The leather was treated with Ultima Interior Guard Plus.
Vacuum: Metro.
Master blaster to dry vehicle and wheels.
Carpets spot cleaned with Wolfgang carpet cleaner.

I believe that’s everything! Thanks for reading/looking!

Scott,
Maybe I missed it, but how many hours did you put into this?

Kind of curious, as I am about to wrap up a similar job on a French racing blue 2013 Jaguar XFR-S. It has been a long process.
I have decided to buy a set of quick jacks based on your posts, and others. I think it will be a huge help on jobs like this.

Bobby

What???...another one already???

You are an energizer bunny!

And of course---drop dead results!!!

Tom

Great work and beautiful car.

I also need a set of those quick jacks!!

Thanks all!!! Miami Blue is a great color!

Bobby, I have around 20 hours into it. The quickjack is a lifesaver in my opinion. Makes things so much easier.

Tom-I'm booked up baby! I may need to change my batteries soon! LOL

Thanks again everyone!

Thanks Kyle!!!

Yep, pull all 4 of them now! So easy!

As always amazing work! First Porsche I've seen in Miami blue and it looks great!

Wow! Awesome work Scott. :props:

As I was looking through the pictures, I thought to myself "thats a great colour for Florida" Ha! And then I read DETAILROOKIEs comment - Miami Blue! Well there ya go then. :dblthumb2:

If I'm honest, I truely didn't like those wheels until I saw them clean. What a difference! They just look plain nasty & boring when they're dirty but clean, yup - I could live with them. What a stunning looking car made even more pretty thanks to you Scott. Really really nice turn around on this little beauty. Top work, fantastic write up & delicious pictures as always. :props:

Thanks for sharing mate.

Aaryn NZ. :dblthumb2:

Because of the color, ext and int, as well as those rims, it's the nicest ride you've had there IMO! That paint color is well worth the $4K asking price without a doubt, well, maybe it's a bit cheaper on the 918 compared to the 911, don't know exactly but looks flat out AMAZING!

The work is always top notch, one of our best detailers here on AG
