2017 Porsche C4S, 7 speed manual
14,316 miles
Black

This was a referral from a client of mine. This car is a ‘stripper’ model. No sunroof, manual seats, manual trans, no bells/no whistles. It is light! He does have a Fabspeed exhaust on it and it sounds fantastic!
The front end of the vehicle is covered in PPF and the paint was not corrected prior to application. The film itself was in bad shape and I cleaned it up a bit with some minor polishing.
The rest of the paint was in poor shape due to improper care/washing, a 2 step correction took care of the majority of these issues and the vehicle looks much better.

Process/products/machines/etc:
2BW with Adam’s shampoo and micro chenille mitt.
Adam’s rubber cleaner on tires.
Adam’s APC soakdown on rocker panels and wheelwells.
Beta test tar remover on tar spots on the wheels and rockers.
Griot’s medium clay mitt.
Griot’s PFM drying towel.
Rupes MkII 21, Rupes LHR75E, and iBrid along with Blue, green and yellow Rupes pads.
Lighting by Scangrip.
McKee’s37 compound and polish.
Blackfire glass cleaner.
Metro vacuum.
Misc MF towels.
LSP NanoPro Pro9H black edition topped with one coat of NanoPro ProFeather top coat.
Wheels/calipers/wells NanoPro Pro9H black edition.
Tire dressing SCG Pro.
Interior was wiped down with McKee’s37 fast interior detailer.
Interior areas that needed to be cleaned were cleaned with Blackfire Interior cleaner.
Seating surfaces were coated with Ultima Interior Guard Plus.

Thanks for looking!

Nice hips!

Wheels off of course!

Who knew.. I guess I like strippers:)

Nice work and great documentation as always. That car was in rough shape for as new as it is.

I didn’t know Porsche made base models. Man those seats remind me of something Chevy would put in a base Corvette 10 years ago. Everything else looks good on the car.

^^^LOL!!!! Thanks bro, appreciate it. Yes, it was really hammered for the age/mileage. Strippers FTW!

Always loved your write ups. I learn a thing or two every time I read your posts!

Tom

Thanks Tom! Very nice to hear/know!!!

Knxwledge---I got them on AG, however I don't think they sell them anymore.

Wow! Beautiful! Black too! My Favorite color! Manual Transmission on top of that! That is the ONLY way a Porsche 911 should be IMO. PDK or Dual clutch transmission might be faster and paddle shifters...a glorified auto IMO. A 3rd pedal is a trus way to ride!

Beautiful work as always!

Awesome turnaround and great write up as useally!

Like the clean stripped look and invites for fun driving. The 4S is an 4×4? Hope the current owner take care of that great finish with a proper washing technique from now on.

Thanks for shareing your work and detailed write ups and your nice pictures.

^^^Yes, AWD/4 wheel drive. I certainly hope so too...I hate seeing my work get trashed!

Excellent - the car and the work! That looked great in the IG pictures, and even better on a big screen!

Excellent work and write-up as usual Scott!

O yeah! :props:

Man that poor thing was beat up huh, Ouch!

Thats some stunning rectification right there, absolutely brilliant workmanship Scott. You really did make a silk purse out of a sows ear with this one. :props: Check out the rims! They look faultlessly clean, & rather sweet in style too actually.

Awesome work Scott, thank you for taking the time to share mate. :xyxthumbs:
