2018 Porsche Macan GTS

Volcano Grey/Black interior
30,717 miles
3.0L V6, 360HP
0-60: 4.4 sec/167mph top speed

This is one of my client’s daily driver. He wanted to look as good as his GT3. Paint had water spots, some swirling and a few heavier scratches. Overall, not terrible for sitting outside 24/7.

While I had the wheels off, he wanted me to install some wheel spacers and tinted side markers. MUCH better look now!

Looks nice but dang they did some damage to that rear door jamb.

Thanks all!!! Klasse, yes, nice option/feature!

If not for the sunlight and palmtrees in the pics, I'd swear you were somewhere in Zuffenhausen ... never seen so many Porsches in one place.:laughing:

Great work as always !

I have to say this, I got respect for all the detailers here. However Scott, the amount of work you take on and perform is to me truly amazing. From taking the wheels off, to full on paint correction and interior detailing, amazing all around. I can only imagine how tired you must be after every detail. I hope one day I pick up speed like every one here and learn to detail faster. If I had to do this car I’d probably be on medication for anxiety and not finish. Lol

I’m a perfectionist and I like to take off every stain, however not always possible. As always great work and thanks for sharing so others can learn.

How long does this take you start to finish?

^^Thank you!

Keep at it and you will learn more/get a system down that works for you.

Typically I have them for 2.5 days and around (I don't really keep track) 24 hours or so I'd say...

Lordy....

Love reading this...

To TrustJesus---Ditto with what Scott said. Keep at it and It'll get easier and a system will evolve.

I always tell customer I need the car for 2 days. I'll try t finish in a day. But on average, takes me day and half to do.

Tom

Fantastic work my friend, as always.

How are you liking the new M twin? 110 + 210

I am so curious about them and yet so happy with what I currently use. Which is Jescar Correcting Compound + Sonax Perfect Finish.

It is kinda weird but I really enjoy looking at the cars in your driveway. Something for everyone and of course learn and have a goal to be as good as your talents and dedication is on display!

Nice job Scott!

"Hey Scott, can you detail my Porsche?"

YOU GOT IT, PUNK!!!

Awesome stuff as always, Scottie!

Thanks for the replies and comments everyone!!!!

Dan: I like them. Still a bit of a learning curve on them for me. Was getting some 'balling' of product and a bit of dust. They are a dynamic duo though...a heavy weight champ at correction and finishing down brilliantly. Another excellent product(s). (still love my griots though!)

Great work Scott. The fact that 0-60 in 4.4secs from a SUV doesn’t even pique my curiosity. Tells me we are spoiled with too many cool performance cars/SUV’s these days. I like the Porsche/Audi/VW SUV designs lately.

Thanks all!

LOL Pat!!

LED: so very true! we are spoiled! It just goes to show what these new vehicles are capable of performance wise. Impressive!

Nice work Scott! As always...

Spacers help a lot that vehicle too. Good call on his part. As noted, it's a lot of work and you do have an eye for detail.

Regards,
