4.0 liter engine, 500HP @8,250rpm(!)

My client wanted to get his paint in the best possible shape as well as protected prior to getting the front end covered in PPF.
This Porsche needed some paint correction to amplify gloss, depth and make that flake pop!

Process/Tools/Products/etc:

McKee’s37 iron remover.
Adam’s car shampoo.
GYEON wash mitt.
Griot’s medium clay mitt.
Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
Metro master blaster.
Misc. wheel and tire brushes.
DeFelsko PTG.
ScanGrip lighting.
Metro vacuum.
Flex XFE15, Rupes iBrid, Rupes 3”.
Misc. foam pads.
Griot’s perfecting crème.
Misc. MF towels.
Optimum paint prep for final wipe down.
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte was the coating of choice.
22ple VM1 was used on the wheels and calipers.
Ranger QuickJack for lifting duties.
HD tire dressing.
Adam’s glass cleaner.
Gtechniq leather guard.
Gtechniq fabric guard.
Carbon fiber seatbacks were wiped with McKee’s37 fast interior cleaner and then hit with Fuzion spray wax to bring out some depth and shine to that beautiful carbon fiber weave.
Engine compartment carbon fiber was cleaned with Adam’s APC and then slathered in Fuzion spray wax.

Thanks for looking!

A little bit of ferrous contamination:

Ready to rock n roll, all washed, decon'd, and clayed!

OMG! What a beautiful ride! As always incredible work! Even better, this GT3 is a manual transmission! An even more rare GT3. I know the PDK is faster and has launch control....blah blah blah, however, nothing beats the enjoyment and driving engagement of a manual transmission....that of course is MY OPINION! As always keep on rocking!

Nice job and write up. Love your garage and set up.

Nice work Scott! Did you coat the front where the frontal of PPF will go? On my mustang, after correction I just hit the front with some ReLoad before the PPF went down, I didn't want to do a full blown coating where the ppf was getting installed.

Anyway, sweet ride and amazing work! :)

Thanks all! Kama-yes! Nice to see a 'proper' transmission!!!

Thanks RS!!!

Paulie, I did. I don't know when he is going to get it installed, so I slathered the whole vehicle!

Thank you Deep18.

Thanks Paul!! Hope you are well!

Awesome car! Great work and write up and pictures as always Scott!

Thanks for the comments everyone!!!! Much appreciated!

Thanks Paul! No 'actual' production numbers as of yet. Some are saying probably 2,018 of them for model year 2018.

This will be the LAST n/a powered GT3 made.
