Fuji White/Ebony Interior

New client brought in their recently acquired Range Rover. They were interested in a ceramic coating. Didn’t know anything about paint correction and thought the vehicle did not need any ‘paint work’.
See my below ‘defect’ pictures…it tells another story and opened their eyes! So the Rover received some correction and protection!
Paint was littered with swirls; gloss black trim was absolutely hammered.

The ‘details’:

McKee’s37 Iron Remover.
2BW w/Gary Dean Shampoo.
Medium Clay Towel.
Adam’s Tire and Rubber Cleaner.
Adam’s Wheel Cleaner.
Master Blaster to dry.
DeFelsko PTG.
Scangrip Lighting.
Flex 3401.
Flex PXE 80.
Griot’s Fast Correcting Cream.
Griot’s Correcting Cream.
Griot’s Perfecting Cream.
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte.
Adam’s Rinse and Coat to seal wheels/calipers.
Adam’s Glass Cleaner.
McKee’s37 Quick Interior Detailer.
GYEON Leather Coat.
Metro Vacuum.

Thanks for taking a look!

Scott,

I admire your work. You have been an inspiration to me to produce fine results as displayed with this example. Great work my friend! I need to be more patience and capture more before and after pictures. Once again, superb.

wow what a great looking SUV....you did an awesome job...I bet your client was happy.....I live in N.E. Fl....how's things down in Naples

Thank you Dan, appreciate the words!

Weekend: Thank you, they were very pleased! All is well down here...waiting on the cooler weather to make it this far south!

Great work as always. That trim was terrible.

I alway's admire your work.....can you let me know what size pictures that are shown...I been using 800/640

Thanks Rippy, was really hammered...and very sensitive! Light polish didn't 'cut' enough, heavier left marring/defects/etc. Was finicky.

weekend: 576x768 i believe. Also use 450x600

I always enjoy your photos Scott. Based on the list of products that you used, it looks like a 3 step paint correction session. What was the total amount of hours?

Fantastic work and results as is the norm. You're absolutely right about the black trim too. I have a maintenance customer that has 2 RRs and I feel like if I just look at the trim hard it leaves marks.

Scott, good work. I know you said you used Adams glass cleaner. What did you use for the nav screen?
I always struggle what to even use, for cleaning wise?

The McKees interior detailer, how long does that last?

Damn, that thing was cranky!

Great stuff as always, Scotty!

Thanks everyone!!!

LOL Pauly! Ima use that term, 'cranky' for that gloss black trim! It was!! lolz

TJ: Thanks! I used the glass cleaner on the Nav screen. Their interior detailer isn't really made to 'last', just a good quick cleanup, and some UV protection.

Thanks Davy, I had the vehicle for 2.5 days, don't really keep track of hours/times anymore. It's done when it's done! More of a 2 step, most of the perfecting cream was used on the gloss black.

OCD: see my comment at Pauly! LOL, their darn gloss black, I feel your pain!
