2023 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
1,800 miles
Triple Black

Client wanted their 1800 mile example corrected and protected after a stint at a body shop for a minor rear bumper repair. Body shop shenanigans. Vehicle was covered in swirls, holograms, overspray, da sanding marks/pigtails, pretty much everything under the sun. Left in much better shape than upon arrival…

The ‘details’:

Adam’s wheel cleaner, tire/rubber cleaner/shampoo.
McKee’s37 iron remover.
Fine clay mitt.
DP ‘hydro blue’
Master Blaster to dry.
Scan grip lighting.
DeFelsko PTG’s.
HF Hercules FR machine.
LC pads.
Griot’s ‘twins’.
Optimum panel wipe.
Aquatek Singular coating.
Adam’s glass cleaner, interior detailer.
Metro vacuum.
Adam’s graphene tire dressing.

Thanks for looking!

Absolutely brutal, are wash mits banned by DeSantis down there

Btw THOSE rims are my favorites of the current 992 generation

I understand that body shops can be pretty rough, but surely all that damage isn't from them. How does any vehicle that's done only 1800 miles get that bad? And especially something like a black Porsche.

Nice result, as usual, I'm sure the owner will be pleased.

They're a little too "hot wheels" for my taste.

Nice job. I can’t believe dealers don’t see damage the inflict. Yeah I’m not a big fan of those wheels… to …flat?…. For my taste

Horrifying. It is getting so so bad. Everywhere. Every brand it seems. Obviously the maker can't control those things once they leave QC.

Appearances aside, I’d hate to own a car with center lock wheels; what a PITA.

Hi Sizzle,
I have always been fond of your work. On this one you showed all the bad blemms before. But your work after shots would be really spectacular if you showed them in the same setting with the light. Please don't take this in any way negative. It would just be really nice to see your work in the same before and after settings. I can see the afters at a far and it looks great. Just impossible to see the drastic repairs/change.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Dana, I post some up on my IG before/after sometimes. Just difficult/timing/etc to try to remember to get the same panel/area before after when I'm in the zone.

Here are a few 'in progress' shots:

Hope these satisfy your curiosity...

I like the face of my wheels concave or with a lip.

Not a fan when face is flush with lip on RWD/AWD

Front wheel drive I look at different because usually you can’t fit those wheels.

Not really a fan of OEM wheels as it just looks “stock” to me. Don’t really love or hate your OEM originals. There nice for OEM.

The Kona N’s on the other hand was a beautifully designed wheel and I like the OEM+ look it gives your car.
