3,000 posts!! ... I always knew this day would come. I'd like to assume that each post means I spent at least an average of 5 minutes on the forum, which totals 15,000 minutes (or 250 hours!). Wow... maybe I didn't want to know that.

Anyway, here are some pictures of a gorgeous 2015 Cayman GTS we recently worked on.

Process
Tires - Tuf Shine Tire Cleaner
Wheels - Hyper Wash & Various Brushes
Wash - Hyper Wash
Decontamination - Speedy Prep Towel & Nano Skin Glide
Correction - D300 on MF Pad via Rupes LHR21ES MKII, Rupes LHR15ES MKII, Rupes LHR75e
Surface Prep - CarPro Eraser
Paint Protection - 22ple VX3 Signature Coating
Tire Dressing - CarPro PERL (neat, 1 coat)
Wheel Protection - GTechniq C2V3
Windshield Coating - 22ple VG1
Metal Polish - CG Metal Polish via #0000 Steel Wool & MF Towel
Glass - Meguiar's D120
Interior - Compressed Air Vac N Blo Pro, Quik Interior Detailer, D120

As always, we started out with a thorough cleaning and decontamination of the exterior of the vehicle.

The car was not in bad shape, and the silver made it damn near impossible to capture defects, but I did my best on a couple of before/after shots.

The exhaust tips showed signs that the car was driven and enjoyed... there was a heavy build up on each tip which at first had me fooled into thinking that they were supposed to be black.

After doing a test spot on the under side of the tip, we realized they were polished! The owner himself did not even know they were supposed to be poslished, which is always a fun surprise.

The end results were one fine looking Porsche.

Silver is not always the easiest color to show off, but a highly polished surface topped with 22ple makes it really POP!

Hey Frank, Thanks! Due to the client's budget, this was only going to be a one-step correction job, but still, I did some test spots with M205 and Reflect after the D300/MF combo and there was no noticeable difference, so we did not do any polishing afterwards. This paint was quite hard, and it took us many, many test spots to determine that we needed to use D300 and MF pads in order to make much of a difference in terms of defect removal. I started with m205 on white LC pads, then orange LC pads, then adapt on orange LC pads, then D300 on orange LC pads, then finally D300 on MF cutting pads and finally saw the defect removal I was looking for. Thanks to the highly metallic light colored paint, the cutting pad and compound leave a great finish.

Beautiful job !!
