So while I was in working on couple of Z06 Vettes, they snagged me and asked if I could give a black focus a quick cleanup too. Not the kind of thing I typically do, but I was ahead of schedule and that would put me in HEAVY traffic all the way home (read: 2+ hrs). So I decided to avoid traffic and pick up a few extra bucks.

But I couldn't spend the usual time on it. Typical combos were just NOT working on this super hard and super abused clear. Likely hundreds of scratch o' matic tunnel washes had severely marred the finish. M105 and orange surprisingly didn't yield great results. As did several other usual combos. What ended up working quite well was PO203 and LC green. LSP was OCW for this. Again this was a VERY short correction and was intened only to improve the finish. There were remaining swirls and a LOT of RIDS, but thats all there was time for...

Then they asked for a quick headlight restoration on this Acura. Then I was ready to go home. But alas, it was not to be. They were so happy, they insisted I do more. Oh boy...

After doing the headlights they asked if I could polish the rest of the car...(oh boy...) I only had about 90 min so I had to move really fast. I had no time to look for the absolute best combo, so I went with the faithful LC orange and M205. It worked nicely. LSP was OCW. Some how I managed to get pics along the way.

Well if you actually made it through to the end, I applaud you. Pretty boring cars, but they cleaned up well at least. It was a crazy hectic 3 hours, but since the cars were already clean it helped greatly. However not something I'll likely do again!

1.5 hours per car, that's crazy! A huge improvement that's for sure!

What machine/product did you use to cut and correct at that pace?

Wow, you are a wizard my friend. That time frame is a killer, especially with correction. Nice job!:dblthumb2:

Thanks! yeah it was nuts!

how much you got paid to do this tedious work within a short amount of time? just curious.

I charged my standard rate.

Machine that I used was the PCXP. Not sure what you mean "that place". As for products, its all in the thread. Take a look.

To most people, they are probably showroom finish. Any car is a good car if you make money working on them.

wow i couldnt even do one car in that time frame lol. i think im more curious to know what you drank 5 hour energy or a red bull lol

Oh I was just running on pure adrenaline, knowing I HAD to finish on time.

Nice job! That is really a tight time frame. I could never have pulled that off.

Did you have time to tape off around the windows, plastic trim and headlights considering your short time frame?

Great work! I would HATE being on such a tight schedule.

What have they been doing to that Focus!?!?

I think they received more than they bargained for! Amazing work indeed! You should have charged more for "rush" like they would have :)
