I recently got a call from a new client to take care of a big group of cars for him, and this one was my favorite. A 3 step correction was selected for this classic to bring the luster back to the paint. The car had been painted several years ago with a very nice paint job but it just didn't have the gloss and depth it should have. It had its share of swirls, but also a lot of DA sanding pigtails and deep RIDS. 31 hours later the paint looked great again with lots of gloss and depth, looking how red is supposed to look. Paint was sealed with Zaino Z2pro. Since I'm posting up from Vegas (waiting for the SEMA show) I'll this short and get onto the pictures.

Thanks for looking!

Wow great gloss and depth. It really glows now.

What polishes/ pads/ machine did you use?

Very nice.Did you tape anything before correcting?
What products did you use for paint, chrome and wheels?

What a beautiful car!

The reflection and gloss in your after shot is second to none! I haven't seen gloss that good! Phenomenal job sir!

You really gave that car the look it deserves. Holy cow, that thing is sweet.

Really brought it up to perfection. Thjey never looked that good on the showroom floor.

How did you handle the brass colored V emblem on the hood? Are they an anodized aluminum? I probably would have removed them. I would be too afraid that my usual lousy taping job might let the pad contact it and take off some of the finish on the emblems.

Nice car, great work. I like the what I could see of the shop. Awesome.

You brought out the best to, IMO, one of the most iconic vehicles of all time.

I really like the exchange the owner did for the rubber "bullets" on the front bumper, wheels, and engine swap!

:)

Thanks Bob. It doesn't get more classic Americana than a 57 Chevy in the car world. This car has been on my "wanted" detail list since I started years ago. To actually do this car and do a major correction (instead of a cheap wash/wax to get the client and bragging rights) was a huge honor and a very rewarding experience.

What a gorgeous detail Jeff!! :props:

Thanks Bobby! It really was a fun one!

Hey Jeff I must of missed that one looks awesome .Glad to see you made it back from Sema in one piece .

fabulous job! an injected 283/283 with matching numbers, original wheels and black rubber front bumper tips et al would be snapped up at barett/jackson around $125k +/-. this car was the baddest of the bad when i was in high school. i want to go back in time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
