'60 Impala, Full Wet Sand and Buff: Rasky's Auto Detailing

Amazing car, Amazing job chad, as usual! I always jump at a chance to check out (errr drool....) over your work!

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I had a 60' Bel Air with a 348ci Tri Carb 3 on the tree and 4 huge doors! Great memories! Great work!

i had a black 59 and it took a lonnnnnnnnng time to doll up but finally i got it looking like a rolling mirror. that came out excellent! just ad the rear bumper, dual exhaust, 348, and some spinners and you'll be in buisiness! great job! :)

Awesome job Chad the work you do is just unreal . I think AG should fly you in next year for DF and you can be the guest pro detailer .

Incredible work Rasky :dblthumb2:

There must be acres of sheet metal on that thing. :buffing:

Wow, that is an awesome car and AMAZING work Rasky!!!

wow chad... great job!

That is absolutely fantastic

Great job.

You did a damn fine job, indeed.:xyxthumbs:

Inspiring work Chad.

You created a finish worthy of the car.

:dblthumb2:

Ah yes the straight six and two speed powerglide transmission, I remember them well. 0-60 in the same day was a good description. Outstanding work on that whopper. I'm sure it got snatched up at the auction due to your extreme efforts.

Only an old fart like me would spot this. The Chevy emblem on the front grill is not the original. The gold "V" in the oval beneath the emblem itself shows the car has a V-8 which it does not. The six has no golden V. There would also be a V on the trunk for the V-8 but there is not. Trivia 101.

What a beautiful job you did on that classic Chad! It looked like an totally different color after you were done. Great job my friend.:dblthumb2:

Ps. Thanks for all the advise with the Opti Coat.

Wow that is some impressive work Chad, amazing

Excellent work as usual! It's amazing how that car turned out and you were like "we agreed not to go too crazy"! :props:

Nice work Rasky! I don't know how you make it look so easy. My friend's '61 Impala is huge and it takes a long time just to buff it. I couldn't imagine sanding, too.

Very cool. :dblthumb2:

Randy

You never cease to amaze me Rasky, honestly. Wow, just wow...

Fantastic work and huge difference. Enjoyed the pics. Thanks for posting!

dddaayyyyyuuummm. With all of the curves and points on that thing, it looks like a nightmare to polish.

Great job Rasky! How long did it take you.... 3 maybe 4 hours? :poke:

She looks great, I can only imagine the work you had to put into that thing.

Thats awesome man!

I'm not surprised at all of the end results Chad. Incredible job from an incredible detailer!!!

Is it just me or does this look like CHEVRULET?

Nice work Chad and thanks for the memories...I had a '60 Impala small block V8 with 4-barrel carb...all white...called it the White Whale. I fit a 40 gallon hot water heater across the trunk width! Darn it was a big car...you could easily fit four or five bodies in that trunk.

Regards,
GEWB
