62 Roman Red 409/4 speed

3.08 was the standard LOL.... ....the 411 was for faster acceleration....and lower top end....also the car had positraction ...
Right but you said better traction, did you mean to say better acceleration

It’s already looking awesome! I’m super excited to see how this progresses.

Oh....It's done!

Maybe the owner can give you a score on the job you did, I'm sure it was an 11 and that car can do a horizontal 11========

This morning....

Removed Megs #7. It was still wet and hard to remove.

This paint is the hard acrylic enamel kind. This type of paint doesn't do oil feeders.

Megs #7 cleaned and dissolved the oxidation on the top of the paint!

Pics...

More to come....hld...!

Done..done..

Only did the megs #7 once....It cleaned the oxidation off the surface with ease!

Polished with CBEAST, yellow Rupes pads and Blackfire One Step.

Sealed with Megs #27 Yellow wax!!!

Done and my ribs and groin hurts! Lol...

Early night for me tonight!

Tom

Hands down...this was one of the more satisfying paint correction on a single stage paint that I have done in a lonnnng time.

Love this correction!

And owner has no clue what will hit him come Friday!!! Lol.....

Tom

Meg's #7 and #26....those products are almost as old as that car, LOL. All kidding aside, the results speak for themselves...now get some well deserved rest and an ice cold Coca-Cola, ok

Thanks Paul....!

Me thinks owner is gonna pass out.
He was kind of oh and humming the process.
Didn't think it was gonna be much of a show car.

It is a show car now! With patina thats on there with gloss over the top...My best work yet!

Loving life right now!!!
