This was built in Carroll Shelby's second factory which started up later in his life.

The paint was very, very hard. Barely was able to make a dent using a compound!

1. Griots Fast correcting cream/fast cut microfiber pads
2. Griots Correcting cream/microfiber pads
3. Griots Perfecting cream/Rupes white pads
4. Polish Angel Master sealant/Rupes white pads
5. Second application of Polish Angel Master sealant.

This was a very long day. Took half of the detail just to find the right combo to get all the scratches out!

Enjoy...

Thanks...

Tom

As I said earlier...you are on a roll! Nice work!!! Awesome car!

Awesome work!

I must get to find a place to polish and apply Master Sealant combo to my car soon. Have had it at home since winter and it's just waiting to be used LOL. We have an extreme weather in Sweden now and have had it since may. It's have been very warm and most of the heat records has been beatened. Then on top of that no rain. It has been many forrest fires around the country. And we have had help from other countries to get them under control. The harvest is also going to be low so the farmers is going to get economical helps and we have to import food to the animals and people. So honestly I don't have had the energy to take care of my car. It's going to be done in the fall instead and be ready for winter.

That color and car is beutieful. And an original Shelby. Wow those is something special!

The Master Sealant is recommended to be used with a polish before with Esclate Lotion. It's going to deepens the color even more if possible. And it's has great abrasives in too and can be used as finishing polish or jeweling polish.

Thanks for shareing your work!

looks awesome and an awesome car to boot,,66 and 67 Mustangs are my favorite cars hands down

DAMN!!! Awesome work on that beauty, Tommy. :dblthumb2::dblthumb2:

Thanks fellas...

It is base coat/clear coat.

This was a hard one. And to make it worst---I got off track, got "lost" and kept chasing my tail trying to dial it all in.

Used up over 14 pads! Shooting in the dark etc. Try this-no, lets try that, nope, try again another---meh, oh--what about this? Before I knew it, I was all turned around and nothing worked!

Prolly about half way through the whole mess, had to start at the very bottom with a compound just to cut out the garbage in paint. By then, was able to settle into a system and routine for this car.

Went into the detail thinking it'll be a simple 1, 2 deal and outta the door. Wrong...!

Then at the end, turned out really, really nice.

This is an example of when one thinks he's the man---bam, got a good slap to the head. Grin.

This was a great lesson for me. This experience has gotten me wiser and even more prepared in approaching a details.

Tom

Oh..by the way---my head shrunk a couple of hat sizes too...Lol...
