75/25, 70/30, 80/20 MF blends???

I know one is polyester and the other is polymide, but what's tbe difference? Is one blend better than another for certain applications?

so the higher the polyamide, the softer the towel it would seem. Most paint grade stuff for buffing and polish removal is 70/30. Are there any other blends out there?

What was the blend on the original cobra indigo's that everyone seemed to be in love with?

I think the Sam's and Costco towels are 80/20, and I use those on paint all the time with no troubles at all, even on softer paints.

I have been looking for an answer on this question for a long time. Originally AG sold the Gold Plush as 70/30. Now the only thing avail. is the 75/25 is the new standard at AG.
The Miracle Towel being the exception. Maybe we can have someone from AG chime in with some background info. regarding the change, etc. I have always thought that 70/30 was softer and better.
