my friends brother bought this truck a few years back. after some extensive bodywork he painted it House of Colors single stage tangerine (closest colot to a Hotwheels version of the truck). he did all of the body work and paint work himelf in his garage. after trying to color sand the fresh paint he through in the towel and brought it to me. at this point the paint had been curing for over a month and was very hard, harder than a lot of clear coats ive worked with, and he color sanded right to the edges of nearly every panel.
almost every panel was re-sanded 1000,1500,2000,3000
combos used:
Rupes 21 (75e in the tighter areas)
Compounding
LC purple foamed wool pad
Meguiars M100
Polishing
Rupes yellow pad
HD polish
topped with Collinite 845
this is the finish left after compounding with the Purple foamed wool pad and Meguiars M100, i was very impressed with the results.

on the roof i had to start with 800 grit to remove the peel and sanding marks

after polishing and wax

thanks for looking. sorry for the lack of before pictures, the truck showed up and i dove into really heavy and didn't want my camera or phone covered in orange paint.
