I've been waiting on parts for the car and figured I could do some minor paint correction. I'll try for sun pics today.

Sonax wheel cleaner
Dawn soap to strip wax
clay bar
white polishing pad with M105/M205 mix
IPA wipedown
Collinite 845
Griot's glass sealant
Mother's Back to Black trim cleaner
Chrome polish on wheels

stripped

That 2nd picture really shows off the beautiful finish! Excellent work.

Great job! I used to own a Grand National. Funny how the speedometer never matched what the car will do.

As a kid growing up in the 80's, I loved those cars to! Dont see to many original GN's anymore.

Gotta love those G-bodies ...GM's finest offering indeed.

Looks great
Love the lil LC2 engines!!

Nice work.

It's nice to see a well preserved Grand National.

While the large flat panels make these cars easy to buff out you do have to be mindful of all the raised body lines. It's one thing if you're careful when you do any machine compounding or machine poishing.

It's the guys that work on cars before you that you have to be worried about.

Thanks, all the body lines and tight areas were done by hand. I contemplated buying the appropriate pads but I only do these corrections once every year or so.

I can't wait to see how it looks in the sun.

Nice car! Growing up my friends dad had one and it was sweet.

Love those G-bodies, and nice work!

Would you mind elaborating on how you used a mix of 105/205? Sounds like something I might give a shot....

I just put two pea size drops of M105 and also M205 on the pad. I first started with just M205 but it was taking too long to get swirls out.
