Jaddie, they may have a tag sewn in but just hold the seam firmly right where the tag is and with the other hand you can rip it clean without damaging the seam.

Out of curiosity, if you were to grab the center of the towel on both sides and pull, will the towel seperate in the middle? Some really fluffy towels I have seen seem to use 2 separate sheets that are just bound around the edges.
 
Having owned three different Chinchillas, I am honestly offended that is the chosen name for this microfiber. Even though it may not be, the name is suggesting it is made from these poor creatures.

Yes, they are one of the (if not the) softest animal you will ever feel. However I am still appalled that is the name chosen for a microfiber. You can count me out from ordering any of these.
 
LOL sorry that's hilarious....are you being serious? its just a name for how soft it is, a lot of company's call some thing they clearly aren't, its just a reference factor...people know chinchillas are soft, and that's what it looks to be a very soft towel. i'm 110%sure AG/maker of the towel meant any offense to any animal lovers ect...but anyhow next order i need some good towels i think i need 1 or 3 of these :) looks like a great towel...any chance these will come out dual sided with a smaller nap on one side? i love those towels....
 
I may grab a few of these Chinchilla's to see how they stack up against some double softs I have.
I prefer a quality edgeless for compound,polish,wax removal but like a little longer nap for detail spray,waterless.I use the OptiPad exclusively for my rinse-less app's but they (Chinchilla) do look like a great final buffing MF.

The name was chosen to directly convey the softness of the towel, has nothing to do with harming an animal or to suggest its their fur. It's like saying "soft as a baby's butt" no harm to the baby's butt, but you know when someone says that whatever they are speaking about is soft!
 
PS we are all sold out of these towels and will be for awhile! That were that good!
