Hey Garry
Great work! Its crazy how i have a lot of the products you mentioned but i dont get the same results as you.
Whats the process for uttp ? I tried it on my moms car yesterday and i doesnt look half as black as those mirror bases, however it rained all day today and i'm loving how well it repells water. Would you mind sharing the ratio for the apc+ for the engine bay ? I used the hyper dressing on some exterior trim and with a bit of water it goes away pretty easy! What was the total time ?
Thanks!quote
Knowing how to get the most out of the products you use is half the battle. As most of you know I work directly with premium finish care, the makers of ultima, sonus, four star products, and gel coat labs. Uttgp is a fantastic product. If your trim is heavily faded you may need to apply a few coats before you get the deep dark look you want.
I used the APC+ @ 20:1 on the engine bay and interior.
Megs hyper dressing is water based so it has no water resistancy.
This detail took me 7 hrs.
Great job as always Garry. I have a hardtop convertible M3 to do when I get time. Unfortunately, it is dark blue and I'm afraid a one step might not get it. Thanks for all the sharing you do of your skills.
Thanks!
Looks very good. You brought it back from the dull and dingy...
Tom
Thanks Tom!
