A little cleanup on my Volvo XC-90

Apologize for the double post from "What did you do today, in regards to detailing?"

Did some spot polishing of my Black XC-90. A lot of surface area on this one. Did the passenger door lips and side panels of the hood with the GG 6” with the 3” backing plate, white polishing pad from Lake Country, and the BOSS finishing sealant.
I tackled the large hood with the GG15” with the white BOSS polishing pad and the finishing sealant.


Did the final wipe with Duragloss 972.

Funny this popped up just now, we are picking up a 2018 xc90 tomorrow and was wondering how the paint behaves. Hard, soft, prone to marring or easy to care for. Care to share your thoughts?

Mine is a 2013 but in my experience it is very prone to swirls and scratches. One wipe from dry MF rag/dry paint surface and I pay the price. I have the best experience with HD speed on this one. However i did get pretty good results with the finishing sealant though.
