A little common sense before washing towels

I never tried water blasting debris off of MF. But, I have regularly water logged one to more easily pick debris out. I'll have to try the blast method.

I have had good luck presoaking nasty MF in detergent with d-limonene added. I have a plunger washer that works in a 5 gallon bucket that helps.

If your MF gets funky smelling, Rocco and Roxie stain and odor eliminator works well if you can stomach the price (about $50/ gal). Just don't make the mistake of leaving it where your wife might use it. Mine went through about half a gallon in a couple weeks before I noticed. Must of glug-glugged every load of wash she did. Ouch.
 
I literally vacuum out the lint filter and use the crevice tool to get down in the recess where filter goes and I STILL will get stray bits of lint on the occasional towel

I would kill to have my own washer and dryer in my garage space

My wife has asked me before why I put on my reading glasses to fold the detailing laundry
 
Hang mine in the garage on hooks to dry. Once dry, give a couple good shakes to remove any loose debris and throw into bin until wash day.
If one hits the deck outside my garage that microfiber becomes a disposable oil changing rag.
 
I have a bucket that I throw towels in as I go, then wash them right after the job.

For excessively dirty towels, I pre-soak and rinse them in the sink with Rags To Riches.



Otherwise, they are washed with Rags To Riches in the machine on low heat.



Afterwards, I hang them to dry on a clothes horse indoors.



Once dry, I inspect and fold them before putting them back into their appropriate sealed containers.
