Attended the competition ready episode in Chicago yesterday and it was a great experience. From working with Mike and AJ , to the film crew and all the other top notch detailers in attendance. Had a blast would do it again in a heartbeat. Great teamwork and comraderie. We were able to use new McKee 37 products, and soon will be able to review a few for all the forum peeps. Also great to meet some new colleagues, and now call them friends. Thanks to everyone for making it a rewarding experience.

Its Friday now, but what a day Wednesday was! Got up early went over to Tom P's, then to a fav breakfast spot of his to start the day.

We arrived at the hotel and sat down in lounge. One by one our detail buddy's walked in. We all sat around the table and exchanged names, and where we were from so we could put faces to the forum posts. A short time later a member from the production crew came over to get us and so the day officially began.

The detail crew bonded very quickly and we all were very excited to get started. We were debriefed on TV production which was very interesting. Mike said something like, if you're ever wondering what you should be doing, its nothing, till the producer tells you do do something.. We all got a good laugh out of that, however it was very true! Everyone got situated and filming started.

I think I can speak on all our behalf, we were ready to get started on this car! We all worked super well around each other the whole day. The detail crew constantly communicated who has done what, and where on the car so as to not miss a single "detail"... I loved meeting and working with all you guys!

It was super awesome to meet AJ, she is very sweet and fun to work with. Thank you Bob McKee for sharing some of your wisdom with us during filming. Mike thank you for the opportunity to be on the team and the Competition Ready Chicago project.

This was an awesome experience!

Rob I could not agree any more. The bonding among is detailers happened real fast. Nobody had attitude, nobody thought they were better than anybody. It was just great to be around a group of people that who's passion and drive for perfection is as big as mine.

If you guys thought Wednesdays filming was a little crazy and had a good time well let me just say Thursday some of you missed out and alot more craziness and fun
 
Since its a reality show surprised they didn't film you guys doing the job naturally but I guess that's the way its done. With all the out of state people that came in did anyone try the suggested pizza places for dinner?
