ADS Quartz applied to the EN!

I'm definitely going to buy a bottle of Beads come Spring when I can do a hose wash again. By then it should be on Amazon and I can save on the shipping costs which will work out about even to the 25% off plus $7 shipping if I ordered now.

I've not been super happy with how ADS Ceramic Spray has performed on my wheels but that may be down to my not great application on a more complex wheel design and not the products itself. A spray on rinse off product applied once a month like Beads would be a perfect for my needs.

Sooooo, I got a txt from ADS, with link, this morning when the sale went live, I was driving so I had to wait till my next stop. So I get there, add other items to my cart and right before I go to check out the gallon of Beads was removed from my cart and it's been SOLD OUT...WTF

Ok...I placed my order:

1. Bottle of Phobic
1. Bottle of Beads (16.9 oz)

I wanted the glass coating but it was SOLD OUT

I'm looking forward to getting/using Beads and sometime in 2025, Phobic

Another test is now upon ADS Quartz, actual snow where salt is being laid down, I expect stellar results! It will also be the first time it goes through the touch-free wash but it's gotta warm up/dry up first

Took the EN through the touch-free wash after work yesterday, all kinds of salt and I swear there was ZERO traffic film afterwards...no pre-wash either, just the regular wash and underbody, that's it! If this is infact true, could be the greatest coating I've used to date, I've applied 4 over 10 years, give or take

I got similar results with my wife's car and Mohs last week and I was shocked. Glad to hear ADS is working so well. Even more reason for me to give it a try this spring!

I mean it's only 3 monthes old and has a couple stacks of ADS Ceramic Spray Sealant on it but with all the salt and NO pre-wash from Bilt-Hamber...holy sh!t

I would think your good results from the automatic wash would be attributed more to the Ceramic Spray Sealant and possibly Amplify if you had topped the sealant with that.
Thats what is on top and meeting the wash.

Maybe so, no Amplify on there, just the Ceramic Spray Sealant, about 3 stacks from a couple monthes ago, even the back and bottoms of the EN looked great

The wheels, coated with Pure:est S1 on the p/s and ADS EZ Beads on the d/s looked perfect, the tires too which have ADS Ghost on them, all these were applied 3 weeks ago and just covered in salt

Between the touch-free and my Bays membership, salt isn't sticking around anywhere if I can help it. Probably going to use ADS Decon as a pre-wash at The Bays followed up with one of my soaps like CarPro Reset persay. I've also got a fresh gallon of Griot's Garage Foaming Surface Prep at my disposal, like I said, the salt isn't going to win

Nah when I had cquk3 on my car I left a bare panel to put toppers on bare paint and coating.

The coated parts always had CqUK3 beading and bare paint would be performance of topper/sealant.

The bare paint water behavior varied by what ever topper I use but coated car always cquk3 performance.

If I’m 100%?honest I think I’m in the camp that coatings shed toppers fairly quick like contamination.

I’ll still do as I like initial slickness and applying stuff to pain but that’s gone quick

PRESIDENT will get you 20% off at ADS this weekend in case anyone is in Spring stock up mode yet.

I saw that but just can't justify more stuff but when their green sponge comes out I'll probably pick up this and that

I still have my money on St Patty's Day for that sponge. They seem attached to that holiday...

So do you think that any product applied to a coated vehicle is basically wasted or short lived?
Also just to be clear the same topper would stick around longer on a non coated vehicle?

Yeah when I had my mustang I left a section in coated. The toppers wouldn’t have same beading/shedding that the coated parts had. Performance would be same on coated parts I topped as the parts I didn’t.
