ADS...The Story!

I think if people tried Ghost, Tire+ and their Tire Cleaner they'd understand the "hype" but if you won't take what I'd consider trusted word of mouth by someone like myself or Deyon, well, I guess you'll never know

***EDIT***

Phobics & Pilot too

Roger,
I certainly trust your word as well as Devons word. Although I have not used ADS products I assume most of them live up to their claims and their performance is all you claim it to be.

It is my contention that there are products out there that accomplish the same thing and are more reasonably priced. I'm thinking that the boutique brands price their products higher as part of their marketing plan. To many a product that is higher priced is mistakenly assumed to be a better performing product.

To me a fancy bottle or an alluring scent means very little. I buy many of my products by the gallon as they tend to be more likely to be dilutable and are a much better bargain and those tend to be in non descript containers. However it depends on the product as to whether a gallon is the way to go. It would take one much more time to use a gallon of sealer compared to a gallon of wheel cleaner and I don't want a gallon to be sitting on my shelf for years.

I wish I could find someone local to split a 5 liter of Feynlab Hybrid Ceramic Detailer. A 16.9 oz bottle of Feynlab is $20.00 plus shipping. A 5 liter is $85.00 plus shipping and the shipping cost is not much more than a 500 ml bottle. That's equivalent to ten 16.9 oz bottles and knocks the cost down from $20.00 per 16.9 oz to $8.50 per 16.9 oz. Much more reasonable but a gallon of Hybrid Ceramic Detailer is too large a quanity to buy.

I understand where you are coming from. You like to try different products and are intrigued by new products. I like to find products that work well and cost is definately a factor for me. I'm not afraid to buy premium products but they need to add something that a lessor product cant.

From your standpoint, that makes perfect sense and I hope you find 1 or 2 fellow geeks to split the gallon price in half or thirds. Amplify is a fine product, no doubt but it's NO Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer! One spray and wipe after the first panel and you'll be BLOWN AWAY with Feynlab Ceramic Spray Detailer

Is this the one you speak so highly of?

https://www.feynlab.com/product/fey...etailer/?attribute_pa_quantity=1-bottle-500ml. This is the one he is talking about. Might be the same, idk. Packaging looks different. I just ordered a bottle lol

Well now I'm confused, both are available here.
Yeah i have seen both here as well on the inwebs. But the link i sent you was from their website so im taking that as the one to get. I coukd be wrong. I wonder if they just had updated the botrle/labeling

Interesting thing about this one, it shows as recommended for clear coated paint only, the FJ's roof is single stage white, so this one is not for me. Whereas the other doesn't specify to only use on approved surfaces, not that I could find. I have seen another detailer that says to avoid single stage paints, that was Clean Detail from Bowden's.
