Not sure but I bought it directly from them, their HQ is like 30 mins from me but I don't think it's open to the public

Yeah, I don't need to meet them or anything just was wondering if there were alternatives since I'm doing orders with other suppliers anyway. If buying direct from their website is how it's done that's fine, just had to ask. Now trying to decide between the 250ml or 500ml sprayer bottle; either way, if I like it, I buy the bulk for refills but now I'm wondering if I might be happier wrangling the smaller bottle during application and just stifle my inner voice that won't shut up about the unfavorable $:volume ratio! :ROFLMAO:

So brief Feynlab update since I was whinging a bit . . . they do offer local pickup, how 'bout that? I was doing a dry run just to see what shipping would be for a little bottle and was glad to see the more affordable USPS ship option but then below that an option to pick up in Elk Grove. If I was heading out that way for some reason I could see bundling the trip with an order and a pickup but for now I'll just pay the shipping. Hey Klasse is there another gotta-try product from Feyn you'd recommend adding on besides the hybrid ceramic spray?

Just looked the product up on Feynlab Austrailia. It is only offered in the 500 ml size and at $42.00 it is more than double the cost of the same 500 ml in the US.
We pay double on products and postage.

A gallon of sealer would take several years to use up. Not sure what happens to the product but as I was reading through the information on the product on the Feynlab site i saw where they stated it had a 12 month shelf life.
Also its more than a gallon. Its a 5 liter which is 169 fluid oz.

Perhaps it degrades in performance after that period? Might be a good question to ask someone at Feynlab.

Yeah thats a great question. Especially if you pony up for a gallon

Well i asked the AI chatbot that question but it didnt have the answer so i emailed that “product question” to the real people at Feynlab. If they respond ill post what they said in regaurds to the shelf life.

X2 on the Feynlab V3 Rinseless.

Klasse, I believe you have tried their Pure Wash. Nothing to write home about?
I saw where they also have a clay lube called "Prime". However it is ungodly expensive. An 8 oz bottle of Prime is $40.00. A liter of prime is $132.00. So I doubt I'll be trying that product.
Some ONR in clay lube dilution works just fine and is about $131.00 per liter less expensive.

Yeah Pure Wash is pretty much a straight forward soap, cleans well and rinses VERY well! After trying/using Meg's Hyper Wash there's no reason to buy anything else if I'm being honest, I slept on this product forever, what a dumbass

I agree but maybe there's a $131 value-add worth of aroma? :)

Their claylube is listed as a ‘enhanced’ prep product:

“PRIME is a clay lube on steroids. Its revolutionary nano-technology deeply cleanses paint. The nano particles remove contamination inside the paint’s pores and leave behind an enhanced structure to boost the optimal bonding of a coating to the paint’s chemical structure.”

I used it back when I was messing about with their coatings. Did it make a difference? Heck, I dunno but it was fun to give it a go.

Yes I read the information on "Prime" listed on their website. I'm not sure I or most people need a clay lube on steroids. Especially at the ridiculous price charged. The regular clay lube seems to work well enough.

Sounds like its a similar concept to Carpro Essence, as in it leaves behind Si02 for the coating to bond to, although in this case, its clay lube instead of polish. Frankly, its sounds like a ceramic detail spray being used as a clay lube.

I was afraid to ask this earlier because it might take the thread OT, but that's not a problem now!

What makes the Fenylab detailer so much better than Amplify?

Larry does not look like a celebrity detailer.
I don't know about anybody else...but that seemed like a non-sequitur to me.

Is Feynlab sold by anyone in the USA except Feynlab direct? I wouldn't mind trying a bottle of this but damn their website is awkward. No brick and mortar or mainstream e-tailers?
They were selling stuff at Amazon, but that stopped a few months ago...or I would already have a bottle of that stuff.

825 Chase Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007, United States is their address. Your name suggests your from chicago which is not far from there lol. Call and find out if you can stop and and purchase
That's what Klasse does.
Oh, wait...
Not sure but I bought it directly from them, their HQ is like 30 mins from me but I don't think it's open to the public
I thought you picked up your stuff there? Or is that another place I'm thinking of?

What makes the Fenylab detailer so much better than Amplify?
first time i used it was 2 days ago so only one use so far. From that initial use i will say the end result was the paint felt slicker to me with feynlab detailer than compared to amplify.

When applying feynlab detailer it did not feel slick under the towel that i was using to apply (it felt the same under the towel wiether i sprayed it into the towel or onto the surface). I used a autofiber elite edgeless 360 or 420 i domt remember the gsm. Ill try it with a different towel next time to see if results differ.

Now when i flipped towel to final wipe, then i felt the slickness.

Amplify slicker when applying.
Feynlab detailer slicker after application.

Now mind you again this was my first and only use of feynlab detailer thus far. I will have a better judgement of said product as i continue to use it.

One thing im not sure of is, did the non slick application have something to do with the rinseless i used just prior? I used feynlab pure rinseless v3 which is my first time using that as well. So maybe that had a factor in it, i am not sure. Will gather more intel as i continue to use.
