Is there anything other than complete wash you can do for a car after a rain shower? My car looks like crap now after the few drops we got this afternoon. I am thinking something like QD and I also have GG speed shine. Would that work?

you might as well go ahead and wash the car over again...I know some people here use QD's and waterless wash solutions, but I tend to stay away from using those. I only use QD's to remove bug splatter from the front if its within a few days after i've washed. I still feel a certain way about using a QD after dust and such has settled on the car. Even though I'm using a lub to remove that stuff, I still feel you are dragging it across the surface. This, of course, is just my opinions. Others use the above mentioned no problem. I guess its personal preference.

I have been back and forth on this issue. Currently light dirt/dust that has not been exposed to rain = QD or WW. Rain = full wash.

If it were me, I'd knock out a quick ONR wash. To make the maintenance washes even easier, fill up a pump up sprayer with the stuff and use just as much as you need. Cheaper than a QD and just as quick.

Im going to have to buy some ONR. This will probably make some of you gasp in shock but I took the speed shine to it and it looks pretty good. The only reason I did that was becasue I am looking at a full correction in the next couple of weeks. I didn't figure it would hurt it any worse than whats on it now.

pressure washer to rinse follow by rinseless or waterless

I've used ONR a few times. If it's real dirty I will run to a car wash and spray it down for $1 then use ONR

I do same with Ultima WW+.

Try Opti Clean or UWW+. They are designed for this purpose.

It really depends. If it's just a sprinkle, I think a QD is usually safe. If it's more than a sprinkle...you really have to be careful. Sometimes there are winds with storms that deposit tree stuff and worse (think roofing granules from your shingles), and heavy rains IMO will splash up dirt from the ground onto the car, even if it's parked.
