AG Shipping Fed EX

Ok, I haven't placed an order since Black Friday till the other day. I am stocked up. All my packages for the last year and a half or so have always came UPS. When did this start? Don't get me wrong, I really don't have anything negative to say about UPS, but for a couple years now have preferred Fed Ex. I just feel they are a more prompt service, usually always get them a day or two before the date given. Am I that far out of the loop?
 
I've noticed that too. But it seems like Fedex has a faster delivery time to the west coast than UPS does.
 
My experience with FedEx vs UPS, specifically as it pertains to AG, has been much better with FedEx. Even being just north of AG in Georgia, my orders arrive a day sooner. FedEx also appears to be gentler when handling the packages. All the shipments I have received from UPS lately looks like the box was dragged behind the delivery truck to my location. Hopefully AG sticks with FedEx!
 
I too hope AG sticks with FedEx, however if they shipped packages with a horse and buggy I would still do business with them, they are the best at what they do!
 
It must depend on your location. FedEx where I live is terrible and UPS is more careful and more responsive. 95% of packages I receive from Amazon come from UPS. The UPS driver gave me his cell phone number in case I had any problems. FedEx just throws the packages on the sidewalk (not the porch) and runs away without ringing the doorbell.
 
FedEx has been a very welcomed change.
 
no complaints here with fedex, i usually get my package around or before noon, where as with ups it seems i'm the last delivery on the route and it will come around or after 4pm...
 
My two deliveries with FedEx have been quicker than UPS. I had bad experiences in the past with Fedex. They have been good these two deliveries.
 
With FedEx my shipments to Canada arrive a week sooner than when shipped by Oops. I am sent tracking reminders which is nice to know when your package will arrive.
I have had too many bad experiences with UPS, so I welcome the change.
 
My order from this past Saturday will also be arriving Thursday. With UPS I would usually get it Monday or Tuesday of the following week!
 
Even though I am a Teamster too, I prefer FedEx. They come here in the AM and a UPS shipment doesnt get here till later in the evening.
 
Didn't know they were Teamster, I was Teamster back in the day, now UFCW!
 
We ship 100's of custom built wood items nationwide and find UPS & FedEx to be the same time shipping to all points.

Biggest thing is zero damage with UPS and USPS and 6 claims with FedEx

We no longer use FedEx

i have to retract on preferring fedex for my package deliveries. i was suppose to receive my package today and have kept an eye on my tracking information and it said it was delivered on the front porch at 12:31pm and i checked the front door 5 minutes after. i immediately looked on the doorstep and noticed it was not there and even when they (or UPS) deliver they ring the doorbell which they did not do. i went over to the next street over that has the same street number but different street name and asked if they may have received a package by accident and they kindly said they did not (also checked the next door neighbors). i called fedex explained the situation and they said it would take 24-48 hours to get back to me so they can investigate the situation. why not call the driver immediately and ask him where the heck the package is at (his negligence and incompetance)? very frustrated right now and i definitely prefer to use UPS now going through this headache. UPS isn't perfect either but at least i haven't gone through this kind of an issue with them...

UPS two thumbs down. I've received overall way more damaged items with UPS and this is more than just AG shipments.
 
UPS left a box of my wife's jeans she ordered out in a pouring rain storm with no protective plastic or anything.

When she called them on it, they told her "They can't predict the weather".

Real nice.
