AG Shipping Fed EX

UPS left a box of my wife's jeans she ordered out in a pouring rain storm with no protective plastic or anything.

When she called them on it, they told her "They can't predict the weather".

Real nice.

lol,lol, sorry couldn't help it.

A month or so ago, I had a package from AG coming. I have all my packages delivered to my girlfriends business, there is always someone there. On delivery day, that night I checked the tracking because I had no package. It said something "Unable to deliver, business closed. 4:08pm". The place is open till 9pm, on my way to work every night I drive past there at 10:30pm and the second shift is usually finishing their work and locking the doors. I called the next morning talked to a guy, got it the same day.

Visitor, I hope your deal gets sorted out quickly, keep us posted.

I love UPS as a company, however FedEx, delivers 1 day quicker.

I hate FedEx here in Mi. I just placed an. AG order last week for $12 and since I wasn't home yesterday to be there to sign they didn't leave it. I am never home when the show up because I have a full time job.... like most. They will try again today but guess what, I won't be home. It's constant B.S. with them. I always have to make special arrangements, etc which I should have to. Now that AG is FedEx I'm sorry to say I will not be ordering anymore unless I can choose anything other than FedEx.

Tell them when you place your order you don't want a signature required for delivery, FedEx just drops and goes at my location.

Who do I tell when I order from AG online? Maybe leave in comment section?

I don't need a signature when ordering from AG, never have.

I can understand the frustration with FedEx... I live 'between' two FedEx hubs and service from them here is terrible. If they arrive by 8pm it's a miracle - even on Early AM stuff. I wish we had the option to select UPS. Even if it cost me more it'd be worth it to have their reliability and not have to monkey around with the FedEx guy.

In all fairness, I live 5 miles from the UPS hub and the driver that has my route lives just down the block.

I've never had to sign for anything from AG shipped via FedEx. The change from UPS to FedEx by them was seamless. But UPS doens't come until late and FedEx comes in the mid am for me.

I'd suggest you call AG customer service.

You need to call FedEx and tell them signature not required for deliveries.

I am not going to do that. The point of online ordering is the simplicity. So have to pick up the phone every time I place on online order kinda defeats the purpose. It's much easier for me to deal with someone who let's me choose my shipping method.

Wow, the things people complain about. Leave a message in the comment box saying no signature required. Is that too inconvenient for you.

I agree with what Salmonbum said about simplicity, he shouldn't have to make a call every time. I stopped using my Cabelas Visa a couple years ago because every time I tried to make an online purchase, it would get denied. And then I would get an automated phone call to call them, wait on hold, tell them that I was trying to make the purchase. Then they would authorize it, and I had to resubmit the order.

FWIW- Awhile ago I asked my girlfriend if they have to sign for my AG/FedEx orders, she said no.

A lot depends on the local dispatch policy. In my neighborhood they leave without sig. In a worse part of town they won't.

Why should I go out of my way when there are other shippers that can do the job with no issues? Same as any job. If I make it hard on my customers they will go to supplier B.

I called them once over five years ago and requested delivery with no signature, if I remember correctly I did have to sign for this, but as of today no signature. If having something very expensive delivered you would be wise to arrange to have someone there.

I always redirect my AG shipments to the local FedEx store. That way I don't have to worry about the signature problem. I just sign for them at the store. You can also inspect for damage before signing for it. I've had issues with broken bottles before.

I abhor FedEx. In the last three months, they've screwed up deliveries at least three times for me. Once was a 'guaranteed two day' delivery that they ended up sitting over a holiday weekend even tho their tracking showed it was on their truck for delivery on the correct day. Apparently they decided not to bother and took it back to their warehouse and unloaded it again. I got it 4 days later. And of course there's nothing you can do about it. I even had the seller contact them and FedEx basically said "too bad, so sad". Screw them. I will never choose to ship with FedEx again.

UPS, on the other hand, has never given me a problem in the last two years. They often deliver a day ahead of schedule.

I have a love hate with FedEx, from east coast to west coast they definitely get stuff to Cali quicker. However i've never encountered a nice FedEx driver ever. UPS on the other hand, we became bros, and I would buy his daughters girl scout cookies. If only UPS was faster, i'd truly just hate FedEx full time.
