Did you see the new Griot's Heavy Duty Cleaner? Looks promising.
 
I have never bought a wheel cleaner product that did what it was supposed to do.. Just spray it on and wash it off...... Bull Ship!!!!!!

I've got a whole shelf dedicated to partly used "wheel cleaner" bottles...
Never found one that works

If you use a pressure washer there are several that will do this for you. On most of my details I don't touch the wheels, just spray on the cleaner, let dwell, then power wash off.

Sonax Full Effect, Iron X (not really a wheel cleaner but it does get the gunk/brake dust off), the new Griot's wheel cleaner (looks just like IronX/Sonax) and Flash Brown Royal
are maybe the few products you should look into if you haven't yet.
 
I really like wheel Cleaners that FOAM!! This is one of the mail reasons I like Autoglym custom wheel cleaner(and the fact it cleans so well). However, the new Griot's HD wheel cleaner looks like it foams too, plus, you get the same iron removal as Sonax at a much cheaper price!!

Just went and looked at it. I like the price, $50 for a gallon is reasonable (IMO). I will be anxiously awaiting the reviews. With 2 European brake dust machines in the garage, I like the iron contamination removal similar to Sonax and Iron X

I would buy and try but with 3 bottles of AG CWC I am not ready just yet.
