AIO Cleaner Wax/Sealant for Metallica Silver Subaru

Thanks for the recommendations. I forgot to ask, what will be a slick spray wax with fillers? I will be no rinse washing my car once or twice a week and plan to spray wax it after that. Something that is good for plastic and rubber would be a benefit to. I saw a vid of a detailers on YouTube that had been using Meq's ultimate spray wax fom Walmart on everything on a clients car's body for several years regularly and the trim and all looked brand new.

Lucas slick mist or flitz speed wax

Why do you keep asking for a spray wax with fillers? Any fillers aren't going to work as well over a AIO, and you may cloud the finish and block the metallics. Fillers should be applied before LSPs, but on a new finish I don't think you'll notice much benefit on a new finish. Maybe you should look at Optimum GPS, then top it with Opt car wax.

Is the name of the paint actually "Metallica" silver (or is it just "metallic silver")? I would imagine the band Metallica would take issue with Subaru using their name as a paint color...

I plan on testing this and I will also test it out on my SSM Subaru (same color as OP).

Waiting until next week when I'm on vacation and will post my findings.

*OP- I don't have any swirls, just some light marring in spots from this crappy winter we have had...not sure of your car's condition.

Best AIO hands down, IMO. Very easy to work with. It uses non diminishing abrasives, so you don't have to break down the polish. Start and stop as you please.

Why you ask? Because I'm a newb and don't know what to ask. However, though the paint is in great shape with no swirls that I can see, the dang dealership did get a couple of scratches that I didn't at first notice that I'd like to hide. I don't want to try to polish them out just yet until I learn more about washing and maintaining my paint so I am not wasting my time at first. I have a lot of bad habits I need to break and need to get experience maintaining my car. I also heard that some spray waxes actually covered up small scratches and swirls better than others because of fillers in them. Maybe I misread that some where.

I have been using Pinnacle Waterless Wash and it seems to leave a nice slick finish so maybe I can skip the spray wax for now. I'll check out the Optimum GPS though, didn't know anything about it until now.

Fillers will only fill very light swirls or scratches. With that said, only use a spray wax with the intention of amping gloss and leaving some protection behind.
