Power gloss course stuff!
I'd switch the 5" MF starter kit for the 6" you have listed, better for a PC! You will like it tho.

I have never used J97, nor have I ever seen pictures of it on a car, so I have no idea what to think of it. I'm sure it looks great, but I see it mainly as a high end detailer's wax collectible mostly for putting on display. I can tell you that CG E-ZYME is my favorite wax. It has a great shine with great clarity and warmth. I have Fuzion, Souveran, PB Nattys white, red and blue, Dodo Supernatural,Supernatural hybrid, among many others and I like CG Ezyme the most by far. It also has a pleasant orange scent. If you don't have other, more essential products yet, like a wet or dry vacuum, a Flex 3401, pads, towels, nice hose nozzle, ect, than those should be bought first. No way I would buy a $275 wax before I bought a $330 Flex buffer.
J97 is for people who already have all of their essentials and just want to up the level of their wax to the next degree, because they can afford it.
Before I would spend $1000 on a one time fill wax, I would buy a certain $2300 wax that comes in a clear Lucite container that has free refills for life. THAT would be a purchase that would have lasting value and would serve as a constant reminder of the occasion while making a nice display for your mantle. I don't have it because I can't afford it.

hey guys im back and after thinking about it..u guys were right..im gonna take a hold on pro j97 and get a bunch of other stuff.so far this is whats in my cart now just let me know if theres anything else i need
to make my detailing a bit easier.. thanks again guys

Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System 6 Inch Starter Kit
Menzerna Power Gloss Compound
Menzerna Intensive Polish
Pinnacle Souverän™ Carnauba Paste Wax
Wolfgang Füzion Estate Wax
The Guzzler Triple Kit
The Autobahn Wall Mount Max Vac
Metro MasterBlaster 8hp
The Autogeek Tornador Air Foamer HP

If I was going to get a Torndor, I would opt for the Tornador Black. I have both and get a lot more use from the black.

I see your list, and I'm wondering where your microfiber wax removal and polish removal towels are. Those are essential. I recommend Griot's Garage. I have had mine for years and they are still going strong.

Where is the paint cleaning clay? Using a high end wax and not claying first, now THAT'S crazy! lol You should get a medium to fine clay like Griots or DP, and an ultra fine clay, like Pinnacle.

A super soft towel for the final buffing of the wax is nice, too, like the Shamrock.
A detail spray can be helpful for removing excess wax difficult to remove, and a Waterless Wash is a convenient product for keeping your car tip top on short notice between regular washes.

Do you have two grit guard buckets, one for soapy water and one for rinse water, for the two bucket method? If not, those are essentials.

I'm guessing you already have a quality wash mitt or two. A boar's hair wheel brush really makes wheel cleaning much easier.
Do you have a wheel cleaner? What about the Daytona wheel brush to get the backs of the wheels?

Do you have A hose quick disconnect and a water cutoff valve at the business end of the hose so you can change nozzles without having to go back to the spigot to turn off the water?

The Wolfgang finger mitts are great for wheel cleaning and applying wheel sealant. (Just use dedicated mitts for each)
What about some nice wax applicators?

Do you have a rubber protectant for the tires and trim?

You can say Zymol Vintage.

I looked at this wax and realized that it is so little and would barely do one car. So I decided that I would buy Wolfgang Fusion Wax.

It's 8.7 ounces. That should be enough to do at least 16-24 cars or more, unless you are applying it like stucco. Wax should be applied as thin as possible. Souveran is 8 ounces and I've done 4 cars so far and it has barely made a dent in the container.

If the wax is more expensive than your car payment....

Based on this...my limit is $505

In reality my limit is 3oz sample of Fuzion

Just noticed on your screen grab that you are using an HP 3300 Printer....so....if you have a $139 printer....you probably shouldn't be buying $999 wax!

:iagree:

I'm not a fan of chemical guys, besides there car washes and fabric clean. This wax is a scam and a joke to me. I'm guessing the case and ingredients cost them no more than $50. They have a video on their youtube channel where they use it and my $8 bottle of Mothers pure brazilian carnauba wax looks just as good if not better.

If it were me I'd rather buy something like an extractor. For $1000 you could get a whole detail setup.

I would say no go on the wax. Unless I did a personal side by side test drive of it first. Waxes are very tricky it's all in the eye of the beholder until you get down to brass tacks of durability and ease of use. If you want to load up and feed the inner detailer wax addict. I would buy several different one's. I would seriously drop that money on some quality supplies and another polisher more pads and some MF towels

(My 2 cents)

$1000 dollars for wax? No way! Unless, of course, you are into bragging about how much you spend. Most of the people you talk to don't know about waxes anyway. With $1000 you can modify your car and still have some money to buy a good wax.
