This time a daily driven Sweed. This 2016 Volvo with just under 47k on the clock came to me as a referral from a previous customer that I've completed several vehicles for. The owner bought this a little over two years back as a daily for his wife but quickly realized pure black can be difficult to get to really look good without a full detail.

The goal here wasn't perfection but he did want the imperfections greatly reduced and the entire vehicle ceramic coated. He went with my Premium Enhancement Polish Package and it was a good choice as I was able to get upwards of 85-90% reduction of the marring that this wagon received from it's lifetime of tunnel washes.

From there he chose to go with a Ceramic Coating and as a bonus I tossed in a nice wheel polishing and coating the plastic trim on there so as to keep it from graying out over time.

Washed then Decon'd with Adams Iron Remover then gone over with a Medium Clay Mitt
Polished with a Flex XCE and L.C. Orange Flat Pads using CarPro Essence
Sealed up with 2 layers of CarPro Cquartz UK 3.0 and the trim done with GYEON Q2 Trim
Wheels polished then sealed up with Sonax Wheel & Rim Shield

As you can see the paint has been badly marred and scuffed

No Worries, nothing a little time, effort and the right products couldn't address.

All the black plastic trim that normally would fade away to light grey over time is now protected.

Looks fabulous. Amazing what the Tunnel of Death can do to a vehicle regardless of mileage. Probably looked $2000 better to the owner.

Nice save! They are going to be afraid to drive it now...it looks so good!

The paint looks so deep ... I can almost swim in it. Nice job.

No color looks as good as a freshly polished black car.... nice work

Great work! I enjoy seeing you use your Flex and Essence to get paint to pop.

Looks like a pool of black ink. Great work, and of course amazing reflection shots.

If you can make a pure black car look that good after it was hammered, you are a true pro IMO.

That thing looks new. :props:
