Me too. I do enjoy working on exotics, classics etc, heck even vehicles that are cleanish but like you say, these types of vehicles show such a dramatic differen, & to be honest - the challenge gets me every time. :xyxthumbs:

Kinda the same here my friend, its only when its time to sell, that they bother. Most of us Kiwis are reactive, not proactive. Maintenance details are my toughest market believe it or not.

Too true. I did a similar ute to this that was also black & the owner just simply didn't understand what was happening, he actually thought I had resprayed the clear coat.

Yeah buddy, the amount of imaginary brake pedals I urgently stabbed at, & the panic at intersections when turning into the "wrong" lanes when we came over for Boot Camp, just doesn't bare thinking about! No wonder I had a heart attack!

He had his doubts I'm sure. From the wash to the interior to the final wipe down, all up, just a touch over 8 hours. I had my Sister tackle the interior with me though, so total man hours - just over 10 hours, inclusive of a half hour lunch break, answering phone calls etc.

Its not a "real" pig hunters ute until ya glue carpet on the bonnet so the dogs don't slide around on it. rops: Interior fabric was sprayed down with Chemical Guys Lightning Fast Stain Remover, scrubbed with Aqua Cyclo scrubbing brush on a cheap DA (except for the head liner, that was sprayed & gently wiped) & hot water extraction. Megs APC for all the hard surfaces, assortment of brushes etc. Megs glass cleaner.

The paint on these, I would say - soft side of medium, & 101 with four passes usually sorts it out. A swirl remover would do it okay but with alot more passes & maybe not quite as much defect removal. :buffing:
