It is going for $300 and the guy has no clue what it is...... he calls it a shampoo thingy lol! He moved into a house where the lady before him had a cleaning business...... left this behind. He said this was what he saw on it..........

Powr-Flite SHP Series Self-Contained Extractor

Can't find anything on it - All I need to know is the PSI and if it is heated....... anyone know anything about this unit?!?!?!??!

Yup. Don't buy it. Powr flite has HORRIBLE customer service. And their stuff is complete junk. I got an old one sitting in my shop right now. Thing was brand new and didn't work for very long. Tried to purchase parts for it, left many messages...just to have them not returned.

Don't bother!!! Honestly he's probably asking about what it's worth. They have some brand new that are around $300. That's obviously a bigger one...but if it's made like the one I had...it's crap.

Well that doesn't sound promising lol! So even if it works and I tell him 100..... still not worth it?!?!?

ha, true. I do have one sitting there doing nothing. If you need something, I might have it. $100 is more like it. I don't think it's really worth $300.

I'm just biased cause the one I had was what the spanish call El Terible.

I truly hate bargaining - but if I am told it is garbage and there is a good chance it will break down soon after buying, better believe I will bargain!

Not gonna lie...it will crap out at some point. Matter ah fact. the previous owners of my business had to buy the one that's sitting in my shop now just before I took over the business because the first one crapped out. Then what happened a few months down the road to the new one? Crapped out! I ended up using a really old box extractor for almost a year before I got the Mytee Lite finally.

That box extractor was a beast though. Wasn't heated...but ran like clock work man. I still have it as a backup. I'd take that old thing over the Powr Flite any day, ha.

Yeah man, looked a lot like that one. Thing was from back in the day. I actually really liked it though.

It's funny too, cause the previous owners told me it was broken. Come to find out...I changed out the filter, replaced the reservoir cap, bought new lines with a wand, and the thing ended up being my go to extractor for a long time. Just cause it's old...don't mean it ain't good!! lol

Yeah dude, I bet you that box extractor would out last that Powr Flite ten fold. I mean the one I have is a fricken beast. They usually need a little TLC cause they tend to sit for a while. I had to reseal the bottom of mine cause the reservoir was leaking on the bottom. Once I fixed it up, it was good to go.

Thing I loved most about it, was it had a release valve. It actually made it easy to empty the reserve! Imagine that! That seems to be something all these new extractors are missing. You have to take the damn things apart to empty it, ha.

That's what I'm talking about.

The guy called back and said it was 50 psi an nonheated - Mytee Lite has spoiled me! I won't go below 100 psi and heated lol!

Yeah, my box extractor wasn't heated either. I just put hot water into it. If you have a Mytee Lite then you don't need nothin else.

I think he said his Mytee crapped out on him. If I recall correctly....

Seajay is right - My Mytee crapped out on me months ago..... had it for 6 or 7 years though.... so can't complain I guess - went ahead and chucked it like a fool lol!

6 or 7 years is a long time for an extractor. I didn't know your Mytee crapped out! That sucks man. So that's why you bought the steamer?

Haven't gotten the steamer yet...... incorporating and changing banks for the business account and other crap has postponed buying the steamer until hopefully this coming week..... been a long process lol. My mytee lite II was used quite a bit for 2 years....... then took about a 3 year break (used a couple of times a year maybe) then when I brought it back into the game it lasted only a couple of months - But I can say it was an awesome extractor compared to others I have used. Getting the steamer for the ability to use it for multiple reasons.
