Any fellow knife collectors out there?

of the ones you have picked I have used D2 steel and S30, S30 will be able to get a finer edge on, but will have less edge retention. The D2 steel will be able to hold the edge longer. That is my experience with the steels. I dont really know too much about the 154CM, I have a friend who has had a bunch of 154CM blades and he doesnt seem to mind them. Actually now that I think about it i do have a 154 CM knife and that thing has held its edge forever, and it gets abused hard.

I still think the 940 or the 710 would be your best best.

Yes I have. I like the spec bump KAI USA : Kershaw Product Details , but the shape of the blade has me thinking, it would be hard to sharpen and cutting might be weird. I went to an army surplus store and they had a lot of benchmades and a CS RECON1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I took a look at the osbone and I like it. I also liked the CS RECON 1, it was really nice, but...........you wont believe what happened...........the locking mechanism, just, just, broke:confused: I was weird, the thing just jammed up. That had me really really worried. I dont know what to do now, a 100$ knive should never fail. I dont know whether to throw it off my list or what.

Known as the flying knife out of Spain. My goal however is to get a Shinto Katana made from a metorite for the blade. The meterorite is going to cost 500$, never mind finding a sword smith to entrust it to.

I also love the fransisca throwing axe. Awesome weapon and tool:

I have a couple nice flick-blade from Spain, I also have a Kershaw Pocket Knife, and a Recon 1 Knife
